A New York City planning commission voted this week to clear the way for a planned Islamic community center and mosque near the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

No, it is not. They supported the Mosque. Rick Perry never did.

Your post is distorted, pre-puberty name-calling.
(I read that one had to be at least 18 years of age to post here. Is this a new kiddie division?)

When did Perry ever say that he was for gay marriage?

Don't ya know that it doesn't matter what he really said...or didn't say....what he really did or didn't do, it's all about getting a smear out for the public to consume like a bunch of gossiping old hens.

There's a handful with Perry Derangement Syndrome and I suspect that they are the reincarnations of Dane, Kevin Curry, and Robert Paulson long gone drug warriors.

Hmm, no denial, just insults. That’s what I thought.

There are clearly exceptions to the tenth amendment, whether you wish to acknowledge that or not.

Wouldn’t that kind of assault be a Constitutional issue?

Is the assault by HPV proteins on little girls more palatable to you?

Where are you getting your info?

How ironic that the person who said, "ILLEGAL aliens will hang drywall for $20 a day, I know because I see them picking onions every time I drive to the airport" would ask that question.

Hilarious.

But considering that this is the site where thousands of Americans lost their life to an unwarranted terrorist attack what side would you want the next president to come down on.

Are you aware that local citizens are furious that mosque is going in there?

Yes, I'm very aware of that! That wasn't the point. Perry said it's up to the locals and the locals are the ones fighting to keep it away...along with a lot of national support!...including mine!

Because it protects the people from the government. It’s the opposite default of Canada. If it’s not addressed in the Constitution, the states own the decision. They despise it. They want to control everything, socialize everything, and micromanage everything.

Jeff Davis sold the Civil War by claiming it was a states’ right issue. He was most definitely all about defending slavery.

RINO Rick didn’t anticipate the tension his “Fine” with gay marriage comment would cause with the conservative base, ignorant morons...

who haven't got the common sense that God promised to a brass monkey wrench.

Or he could have flown in on tax payers money, and laid the first stone for their new Muslim center, like he did in Plano Texas.

Plano, TX: "Officials (Governor Perry) lay bricks in symbolic start for Muslim center"

Gov. Rick Perry flew in to lay the first ceremonial brick for the center's foundation. It was a symbolic gesture since the site for the new center will be a few miles northeast of Plano
