Is there any other conclusion after watching the Iowa video?
It is warm and inviting and part of the reintroduction that began with the Steve Bannon movie.
I have long thought that Governor Palin has been honestly trying to figure out the best use of the energy and attention and anger! that swirls around the name Sarah Palin.
And with this video, I think she just shared which way she is leaning.
Rand Paul is a citizen who happens to be in politics.
I sense that he is also of the same class of citizen public servant, as Sarah Palin. There are others, and more are coming.
It depended on where you were. Anyone involved in politics had to have means to participate in political life. John Adams was a lawyer-farmer who did not have the wealth of a John Hancock, but he did all right. On the same social level as a small planter in Virginia (who also did a heck of his own work.) Preachers were prominent in the Cause.more so than lawyers. They didn’t have a lot of money but they had prestige. BY and large, the Revolutionary leaders was one social level lower than the English Revolutionaries of the 1640s.
All the physicians are on that level. Some of the lawyers, but usually those newly elected into office. Every congressman is representative of interest-groups. There are many publics, so no one public interest, except on certain occasions.
Who knew soap makers were elites??? And farmers!!! Elitists!!!
Just can't come out from under that bridge and into the light, can you? Pity.
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."
People on top of society are elites. They believed in a social hierarchy. Why do you think that the Founders were levelers?
You don't think the station management wouldn't make special allowances and put Mark and Bob on the air to get the scoop of the year? You betcha, they would.
If she is running all the ducks don’t seem to be lined up for it to be a GOP run. If she does announce I am guessing it will be a Tea Party third party run as she will be at a tea party? Only strange thing is the tea party has a big tent of independents and social/fiscal democrats. How will the independents feel about this? Bachmann has promised to stop the EPA and they are fixing on giving us all higher electric bills by closing coal plants. Obama needs to go that is all I know.
There's more of that socialist speak. Soap makers weren't elites. Farmers weren't elites. Merchants weren't elites.
Levelers? Could you SOUND more liberal? NO!
"We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal;
Fool.

Please explain.
I've had that feeling about her since the end of the 2008 election, and have raised eyebrows on more than one occasion for expressing it.
Right after the 2008 election concluded, I perceived a huge sense of loss from the American people, and the feeling that, by all rights, it was Palin who should have been taking the oath of office.
I said then, that she was all but elected in the hearts of the people, and that our four year wait and the subsequent election would be a mere formality.
The Founders were members of a social hierarchy. Read the novel “Johnyy Tremaine,” if you want to put flesh on the meaning of indentured servant” and “apprentice.” A bond servant was a kind of slave with fewer rights than a convict has in our society.
You are pushing revised liberal history. Why? An admirer of the Communist goals for America? Because that is exactly what you're trying to sell.
Your post was a bit obtuse, but I gather that you’re pouring cold water on the idea that there are any citizen public servants in office nowadays.
Robby, the more I talk to you, the more I get the sense that you’re immersed in liberal academia.
BOOYAH!
Levelers were the members of Cromwell’s “New Model Army,” who wanted to eliminate most social distinctions. Not many Americans thought in those terms. Thomas Paine used that sort of rhetoric, and it proved much more popuar in France than in America. Now to the degree that the Revolutionary War was a civil war—Loyalists vs. Tories—there was something in that. Thomas Hutchison, the governor of Massachusetts, and member of an old, well-estab;ished family, was treated roughtly by the mob and eventually had to leave with the British in March. Many other Tories were forced to leave the country for the relative safety of Ontario, and they had to leave most of their property behind.
RobbyS is following the communist pattern to a “T”.
