That would be a bit difficult since Sept. 3 is on a Saturday, and their regular schedule is M-F. ;)

You don't think the station management wouldn't make special allowances and put Mark and Bob on the air to get the scoop of the year? You betcha, they would.

My dream scenario is what somebody way up-thread suggested: That Palin call Mark and Bob on FRIDAY, announce then, and say "I made a promise to you and I'm keeping it, just like I'll keep my promises to the American people."

She'd be SHOWING, not telling, but SHOWING, how she honors promies, and also ... the excitement surrounding the Sept. 3 event would go off the charts, and the place would be mobbed by folks -- and if a bunch of donations hit Palin between a Friday annoucement (to keep her promise to M&B) and an official declaration Saturday, it would really boost the profound image and impact of the Sept. 3 event.

That's my favorite scenario! We can only wait and see what transpires! For the first time in a long time, this is kind of fun.

Oh, I have no doubt that they would. I was thinking of her doing it more on the fly, rather than pre-planned.
