In the grand scheme of things, if we are near Alpha Centauri A when it all comes down or not, we will not witness it for several years. So the question is ... Has the impact already occurred? Alpha Centauri A calling. This a collect call. The net will be billed accordingly. Please tell me, it has not yet impacted. This is the collection agency Alpha Centauri A calling. Comet Elenin, supposedly discovered by Leonid Elenin on Dec 10, 2010.
I have a hard time believing the story of its discovery for a very simple reason.
The description of a newly discovered object coming in on a long-period orbit around the Sun would include 2 factors:
FACTOR 1. The direction FROM which it is coming.
FACTOR 2. The DATE of its perihelion, or closest point to the Sun.
Comet Elenin is coming FROM LEO and has PERIHELION DATE of September 11, 2011.
NOTE: The ORIGINAL date, when announced, and as seen on NASA JPL animation tools, was Sept 11
It has been CHANGED (on Wikipedia.org, an editable-by-anyone site) to Sept 10.
Now, I can find lots of NASA and other stories claiming it is not a danger, but NO mention of the Perihelion date. Curious.
Leonid Elenin is the discoverer.
His FIRST NAME (Leonid) indicates FACTOR 1.
Comet Elenin is coming from the direction of the LEO constellation.
The Leonid meteor shower comes from the direction of LEO -> LEONID (FIRST NAME).
His LAST NAME (Elenin) indicates an acronym for the European-style DATE or FACTOR 2.
European dates are day/month, 11/9 is Sept 11th.
The acronym is ELEven NINe -> ELENIN (LAST NAME).
This story of the discovery of this object is a LIE.
Leonid Elenin is NOT a REAL PERSON.
So what IS the TRUTH?

So you are trying to tell us that amateur astronomers don't discover comets? And that NASA and EVERY official astronomy agency on the planet is covering this up, and some amateur astronomer hasn't been able to come up with observational evidence that Elenin is nothing more than an unremarkable comet.
Seriously, take a critical thinkging course, it might help.
Since the scientists NASA back say the aliens are going to attack us (on Earth) due to global climate change. Not believing NASA has its attributes. Are there calculations which are believable regarding trajectory? From what information there is ... most of the calculations have been saying the miss is the distance of the Earth to Moon. Very close. Haven’t these calculation been shot down as untrue?Truly I have no idea.

The coincidence is too great for the discoverer’s name to exactly match the origin direction (LEO constellation) and the originally published Perihelion date (9/11).
That is all.

When it comes to discoveries unknown comets, NASA is generally about the last to know. Hundreds of amateurs are looking so why would NASA waste the time and money?
Frankly I think its a near ideal situation. Amateurs find them and NASA takes a gander.

Since you claim to be smart with a physics degree, you should have no problem understanding why people ridicule you, but I’ll go ahead and type it out for you.
1. Since NASA does not have 9/11 as the perihelion date, that pretty much negates all of your theory. Still, let’s keep digging into this.
2. This ‘conspiracy’ would mean millions of people are involved in the cover-up all around the world. From amateur astronomers to people who work for NASA and similar agencies around the world.
3. People naturally look for and see patterns, more often than not they are about as relevant as seeing animals in cloud formations. Normal people can distinguish between seeing these possible patterns as just coincidence or the mind making connections that isn’t there. Seeing and believing patterns like you are pointing out with secret messages in names and secret meanings behind dates and numbers, is usually considered a psychosis.
So, as a smart, educated person, which is more logical:
You found a top secret code/meaning inside the name of the Comet Elenin that reveals a mystery behind its discovery.
OR
It is a coincidence.
If you still think it is the first one, look up all of the millions of these type of ‘discoveries’ on the internet and see how many came true. If that doesn’t work, seek professional help.

No, there is no date or anything.
The ONLY THING I am saying is that the COINCIDENCE of the DISCOVERER’S NAME and the 2 BASIC FACTORS about the Comet is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, therefore NOT BELIEVABLE.
That is all.
There IS a Comet, I believe, following the trajectory published by NASA and JPL.
We also know that for the past 2 weeks NASA has pointed STEREO B (solar observatory behind the earth orbital track) directly at the Comet for 2 HOURS per day.
If it was as INSIGNIFICANT as they say, why did they do this?
I just don’t believe the STORY about it’s DISCOVERY.
THAT makes me generally suspicious about what is said through official channels about it.
How can you explain the coincidence?
It is pretty unlikely, you’d have to agree, wouldn’t you?
