I’m really ticked that Pawlenty did better than Cain.
IMO...Cain is the real deal. Don’t know if he can pull himself up....but he needs to be there. Somehow.

I still like Palin/Perry or Perry/Palin and want Bachman to bow out at some point. I want Newt and Paul to stay in as long as possible as well as Cain to keep the Perrys, Palins and Bachmans to not avoid tough issues and to pound on Obama personally and politically so at some point the leading candidates don’t have to.

It means nothing. Romney won last time. He lost IA caucus. Perry Palin didn't compete and Romney didn't make the effort this time because he knows buying all those votes just to say you won the straw means nothing about winning the Caucus.
