Cain is so sharp and has credentials a mile long.
I'd love to see him in some sort of Cabinet post if he doesn't get the nomination.

You left off Perry, with little over 700 votes, as a write-in candidate, beating Romney.

To: Keith in Iowa; All
Bachmann 4823,
Paul 4671,
Pawlenty 2293,
Santorum 1657,
Cain 1456,
Romney 567,
Gingrich 385,
Huntsman 69,
McCotter 35,
other write-ins 162.
Total votes 16892
I biggest problem here is that Pawlenty came in third. I was hoping he would drop out....he ticked me off in the last debate. Ron Paul’s number mean nothing...so I don’t care he came in second. I am glad to see Santorum did as well as he did...Cain not too bad either.
Anyway, I am pleased that Bachman got a boost. I think Perry showed ZERO class to announce when he did and draw attention away from this event. I’m already suspicious of him....his actions make me more so.
If Sarah Palin is going to run, I wished she would announce ASAP. I feel she will bring good things to the primary even if she doesn’t win.

here are the real numbers:
1. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (4823, 28.55%)
2. Congressman Ron Paul (4671, 27.65%)
3. Governor Tim Pawlenty (2293, 13.57%)
4. Senator Rick Santorum (1657, 9.81%)
5. Herman Cain (1456, 8.62%)
6. Governor Rick Perry (718, 3.62%) write-in
7. Governor Mitt Romney (567, 3.36%)
8. Speaker Newt Gingrich (385, 2.28%)
9. Governor Jon Huntsman (69, 0.41%)
10. Congressman Thad McCotter (35, 0.21%)

Bachman has good values/ideas. So do I, so do you. Big whoop. We need someone who can fight and win or America dies. Bachman needs to withdraw today and support a Sarah Palin candidacy.

They are totally worthless, except that if you lose big, you might consider pulling out of the race. That’s all it means. People actually have to pay $30 to cast a vote. It’s just fun now, because we’re finally talking about who is going to replace Obama. Woo-hoo! It’s almost over!!!

Romney is done. If he cannot do better then this in the Midwest he is DOA. I was worried he would come in high that he finsihed so poorly he is DOA. He may win NH but he cannot win in the South or the Midwest. He is DOA.

support a Sarah Palin candidacy. Only problem is Palin is not running. Maybe if she gets in the race you would have a point

Watched Thaddeus McCotter interview with Bret Baier. Impressive and very funny guy.
I’d sure like to see him in future debates. Juice those polls.

Romney, Perry or Palin. One of these three will be the one. And Palin hasn’t announced. Cain has no chance.

No surprises here, except for perhaps Santorum finishing 4th. That may keep his VP aspirations alive. It’s lights out for Pawlenty, who will take 3rd as a reason to limp along for a while, but his fundraising will end. This doesn’t yet put Bachmann in the top tier, but it gives her some added credibility. No effect on Romney or Perry.
