I don't know what you mean by, "Well, at least those are reasons." What little doubt I had about you being one of the Ronulans evaporated with that snarky comment.

I don't really give a crap whether you think they are good reasons or bad reasons. You don't really expect me to support a candidate whose local campaign manager is an inconsiderate and rude jerk, do you? Do you expect me to support a presidential candidate who blames my beloved nation for the events that occurred and the innocents who died September 11, 2011?

Imagine my dismay when the local Ron Paul campaign chairman shoved me almost to the ground on the way into the REC meeting. Fortunately, more civilized people were close enough to catch me reeling from his shove to rush past me.

Imagine my surprise to find out who he represented when the boorish young man was called upon to speak on behalf of Ron Paul.

As a rule, Ron Paul supporters are not good ambassadors for the candidate. Haven't met one yet that I would consider trustworthy. Worst of all, you just don't get it--or maybe you do get it, but you simply don't care.

While I love Palin, I also didn’t especially care for her going to Iowa at this time. However, Palin’s visit was pale in comparison to announcing candidacy, imo.

Also, I do like Perry more than I like Romney, but I also hope neither Perry, nor Romney, are the nominee.

We don’t need another governor from TX, who is pro-amnesty.

I have been called a PDSer, non Christian that practices witch craft because I don’t believe they are all Palin’s campaign managers and they are the only holy ones in the know spiritually. If they were really of faith and spirituality they would not act like this. They are really getting out of hand.
The latest is you have to read a book to get Palin’s strategy.
We don’t have time to read books and watch movies to figure out what they are imagining Palin is doing. They are accusing Bachmann’s people of saying Palin is not running? That is sadly pathetic.

Calling Cain, who came in fifth, one of “the real winners” of the Iowa straw poll misses the point that getting the most votes is winning.

No, it isn’t. Because he votes were based solely on intensity...he didn’t have to buy tickets or spend massive amounts of advertising to get his votes. that is the difference and that is what makes this poll meaningless...past history dictates this as well. I like Michelle, but we need a dose of reality. And, I figure, we can discount RP, Santorum (although I like him too) and now TPaws, so Cain fared much better by default.

Elections are won by the person with the most votes, not by measuring who has the most intense or committed voters.

Why does this poll have any credibility or coverage? The person who wins is the person who bused in, fed, and schmoozed the most people. It has nothing to do with reality.

How many Iowa Straw Poll winners have won the presidency? Not many. It is no real predictor.

It showed that Pawlenty’s organization wasn’t cutting it and he dropped out. Really, that’s all it does.

I don’t give one whit about alleged resource advantage. Today’s internet has eclipsed money as the game changer. I mean, who the hell watches or listens to the broadcast media today? Only a few souls who are so brain dead and/or propagandized they aren’t even in touch with reality.

I know who Palin and Bachmann are and what they believe. They are my primary conservative candidates. I also like Cain and West. All of them have demonsrtated their conservative credentials and willingness to take the fight to the Marxists.

The communication dynamics have changed. Money is not the trump it once was.

Actually I’m amazed at the Iowa results given that the Pubbies who chose Backmann were the state’s Pubbie elite. I expected the RINO Romney to come out on top. But the fool finished sixth or seventh. I wonder what the GOP will do with that. Also in the top five was Cain. Pawlenty’s dropping out moves Cain to the four spot.

Of course, old Ron Paul came in second. But he’s dead meat and will not survive many more primaries. Too old, he’s had his chances and he always manages to say stupid things.

Perry is a momentary shooting star. But he’s packin’ a lot of liberal baggage. His signing of the Texas hate speech and antiborder control bills tells me all I need to know about him. Gingrich needs to get a life. Somehow a guy who’s on his third marriage doesn’t strike me as nuclear family friendly.

All the rest of the declared field are losers—perhaps with the exception of Santorem. I guess it looks good on a resume saying one competed for Pubbie pres. candidate. I suspect it’s an ego thing as well.

Oh, and there is Gov. Palin... Hmm——

Here`s the article that I got that info from... I paraphrased from memory...

You are not denying that Gov Palin put everything on the line for both Perry and Bachmann. At any rate if you would be good enough to read this article, you will at least find I did not make it up

I like Palin. She’s not running, though. Perry is, and Palin will be endorsing him. You see, she KNOWS he’s a conservative. She knows what he’s been up against in Texas with its unique dynamic. She knows how hard it was for him to take Texas where it is today, leading the nation in jobs while still defending 64% of the Southern border with only 20% of the federal border funds. She gets it. And I’m sure she’ll be getting at least a place within his government, if not a VP position.

Yes, that is correct. But, you have to have interest for people to turn out...unless you are a Democrat, then busing works well.

Palin not running is her WORST kept secret, most of the country has figured it out by now. But we are told those evil Bachmann aids keep smearing her by stating the obvious.

I been called a demented PDSer a number of times for posting that she should declare her candidicy, I was told that it would subject her to attacks and that waiting and waiting and waiting would allow her sweep in and beat all of them by surprises.’ I was told only someone that hates her would ask her to declare.

At the same time we are told she is running and she will beat everyone, we are told she has no duty or obligation to run, and if she doesnt we should all support whoever she tells us to, It's insanity.

Good for you. It had to have been pretty disheartening regarding Fred Thompson. He just didn’t want it NN.

I would love to attend at least one; however I’m not sure the finances could withstand it at this time

I see in red on that page “recognize Palin’s effect.” It is way over the top dramatic don’t you think,? for you to say; “Palin put everything on the line for Bachmann and Perry?” Palin is not this bitter nor self righteous with the green eyed monster, why are you making her seem this way?She endorsed them, it did not make them.It helped yes but that is it. You are not helping her do you not realize this does not reflect well on Palin and if anything people are becoming sick of these whiny pathetic excuses? It’s getting real old. One second MO and Perry are evil RINO’s and now they’re great again because Palin got them to where they are now? If you are not a DU troll you have got to PLEASE get a grip.I am so sick of it; the blame everyone else crap is Obamalike not Palin like, so do her a favor and stop whining for her.

Clean up of strange typos on aisle 7. I used spell check and it added the trademark stuff I didn’t do that gobbledy gook. Sorry. You won’t believe me but did someone put a trademark in spell check for Palin’s name?
