An FBI Denver Joint Terrorism Task Force handout being distributed to Colorado military surplus store owners lists the purchase of popular preparedness items and firearms accessories as suspicious and potential indicators of terrorist activities, an exclusive report by Oath Keepers reveals.
Essentially, the government is conflating Americans who believe in being prepared for disruptions in normal circumstances with potential domestic enemies who bear scrutiny, and are recruiting those they patronize to spy and snitch on their customers. As potential terrorists. For such suspicious activities as buying storable food. And paying in legal tender.
This is not a new tactic. Oath Keepers themselves have been targets of a campaign to portray their organization and membership as militia extremists and haters, due in large part to the smear efforts by the Southern Poverty Law Center. It has been used against people who champion the Constitution and warn against the United Nations. And its not confined to the FBI, but is also used by the Department of Homeland Security and so-called Fusion Centers and

You nailed ... once again. These oligarch servants are doing anything they can to justify their lives and increase their funding from confiscation revenues (read ever increasing taxes).

The government has gotten into the business of scaring everyone.
Very Machivallian:
Tis better to be feared than to be loved
COMING now to the other qualities mentioned above, I say that every prince ought to desire to be considered clement and not cruel. Nevertheless he ought to take care not to misuse this clemency. Cesare Borgia was considered cruel; notwithstanding, his cruelty reconciled the Romagna, unified it, and restored it to peace and loyalty. And if this be rightly considered, he will be seen to have been much more merciful than the Florentine people, who, to avoid a reputation for cruelty, permitted Pistoia to be destroyed. Therefore a prince, so long as he keeps his subjects united and loyal, ought not to mind the reproach of cruelty; because with a few examples he will be more merciful than those who, through too much mercy, allow disorders to arise, from which follow murders or robberies; for these are wont to injure the whole people, whilst those executions which originate with a prince offend the individual only.
And of all princes, it is impossible for the new prince to avoid the imputation of cruelty, owing to new states being full of dangers. Hence Virgil, through the mouth of Dido, excuses the inhumanity of her reign owing to its being new, saying:
Res dura, et regni novitas me talia cogunt
Moliri, et late fines custode tueri. 1
Nevertheless he ought to be slow to believe and to act, nor should he himself show fear, but proceed in a temperate manner with prudence and humanity, so that too much confidence may not make him incautious and too much distrust render him intolerable.
Upon this a question arises: whether it be better to be loved than feared or feared than loved? It may be answered that one should wish to be both, but, because it is difficult to unite them in one person, is much safer to be feared than loved, when, of the two, either must be dispensed with. Because this is to be asserted in general of men, that they are ungrateful, fickle, false, cowardly, covetous, and as long as you succeed they are yours entirely; they will offer you their blood, property, life and children, as is said above, when the need is far distant; but when it approaches they turn against you. And that prince who, relying entirely on their promises, has neglected other precautions, is ruined; because friendships that are obtained by payments, and not by greatness or nobility of mind, may indeed be earned, but they are not secured, and in time of need cannot be relied upon; and men have less scruple in offending one who is beloved than one who is feared, for love is preserved by the link of obligation which, owing to the baseness of men, is broken at every opportunity for their advantage; but fear preserves you by a dread of punishment which never fails.
Nevertheless a prince ought to inspire fear in such a way that, if he does not win love, he avoids hatred; because he can endure very well being feared whilst he is not hated, which will always be as long as he abstains from the property of his citizens and subjects and from their women. But when it is necessary for him to proceed against the life of someone, he must do it on proper justification and for manifest cause, but above all things he must keep his hands off the property of others, because men more quickly forget the death of their father than the loss of their patrimony. Besides, pretexts for taking away the property are never wanting; for he who has once begun to live by robbery will always find pretexts for seizing what belongs to others; but reasons for taking life, on the contrary, are more difficult to find and sooner lapse. But when a prince is with his army, and has under control a multitude of soldiers, then it is quite necessary for him to disregard the reputation of cruelty, for without it he would never hold his army united or disposed to its duties.
Among the wonderful deeds of Hannibal this one is enumerated: that having led an enormous army, composed of many various races of men, to fight in foreign lands, no dissensions arose either among them or against the prince, whether in his bad or in his good fortune. This arose from nothing else than his inhuman cruelty, which, with his boundless valour, made him revered and terrible in the sight of his soldiers, but without that cruelty, his other virtues were not sufficient to produce this effect. And shortsighted writers admire his deeds from one point of view and from another condemn the principal cause of them. That it is true his other virtues would not have been sufficient for him may be proved by the case of Scipio, that most excellent man, not of his own times but within the memory of man, against whom, nevertheless, his army rebelled in Spain; this arose from nothing but his too great forbearance, which gave his soldiers more licence than is consistent with military discipline. For this he was upbraided in the Senate by Fabius Maximus, and called the corrupter of the Roman soldiery. The Locrians were laid waste by a legate of Scipio, yet they were not avenged by him, nor was the insolence of the legate punished, owing entirely to his easy nature. Insomuch that someone in the Senate, wishing to excuse him, said there were many men who knew much better how not to err than to correct the errors of others. This disposition, if he had been continued in the command, would have destroyed in time the fame and glory of Scipio; but, he being under the control of the Senate, this injurious characteristic not only concealed itself, but contributed to his glory.
Returning to the question of being feared or loved, I come to the conclusion that, men loving according to their own will and fearing according to that of the prince, a wise prince should establish himself on that which is in his own control and not in that of others; he must endeavour only to avoid hatred, as is noted.
The End Justifies the Means.....
Cheers!
In fact, if someone went down the list of "conspiracy theories" and incorporated elements thereof, they would likely (especially with a willing or co-opted press) be able to get away with the blatant commission of that crime in broad daylight, just by rolling their eyes and muttering about 'conspiracy theorists', and letting the media take their cue and ridicule their accusers.
Sometimes a conspiracy is just a conspiracy. Not theoretical, but real.
But whether, for instance anyone would believe that our Southern Border had been left open to invasion for the purposes of running drugs or padding elections, that a standing president might have been benefitting from the illegal drug trade, financially and/or politically, is primarily related to whether that president and the person shared political affiliation--regardless of what was going on.
People would readily believe Clinton might be involved in cocaine smuggling operations (Mena) if they were not Democrats, but not that any other President (except the current one) might have a slice of that pie, directly or indirectly. Yet nothing got done to secure the border, no matter who was running things.
People woke up dead in the morning, and it was blamed on 'suicide', plane crashes, train wrecks, 'terrorist' acts, 'random' crime, car accidents, etc., sudden criminal accusations/investigations/trial by media, have displaced key players from positions of power at critical moments and all we hear is the soap opera trial du jour in the news.
And stories of real, juicy conspiracy ('Gunwalker') get buried in the dross or never get exposure on the glass teat.
How anyone could conclude that there isn't some sort of massive conspiracy going on is beyond me, regardless of who they attribute the actions to or the motivation they suspect.
The 'theories' were an attempt to explain actions which do not make sense in a normal sociocultural framework, and the more outrageous the actions, the more outrageous the explanation, ergo, to get away with the 'perfect' crime, it needs to be outrageous in scope and scale and conducted in broad daylight.

I suppose it could be that the original was extremely high resolution, which would make the file unnecessarily large, which would make it hard to download/open or e-mail on dial-up or other slow connections (i.e. in the hinterlands). Of course, that might have been the goal all along.
I looked at the internal structure of the .pdf
It is a RDF type .pdf
It appears to have been created with OpenOffice 3.3
It is a linearized .pdf (if it were a multi-page pdf it would render the first page quicker for web viewing, no advantage for single page document)
Past that, very little data that I could see with an editor.
The FBI defines terrorism as:
The unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a Government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.
Accordingly, it's clear that over the last decade or so, the FBI has become a terrorist organization.
These people are starting to sound more and more like Qing Emperors of China where any and all non-governmental organizations were considered subversive.
Don't forget your black flag to complete your ensemble!
I was lying on my bed the other night watching a movie on tv when it sounded like a gunshot in my living room. I got my shotgun and searched all around inside and outside my house, but found nothing. I went back to my movie. Today I looked in my cabinet and found the culprit- a 15 &1/4 oz. can of DelMonte apricots with the ring-pull top had imploded. It was half full and the lid was inside. Only a small mess to clean up but, No more ring pull cans in my storage. It may have been a year old.
Preppers constitute a group that can be in pure Alinsky fashion, identified, frozen and targeted for propaganda purposes and as prospects for ‘anti-hoarding law’ enforcement.
All those evil, greedy anti-government types need to get what’s coming to them, don’t they? Perfect subjects for an 0bamunist Five Minute Hate.
Theater for the masses...
Bad can, sounds like. QC’s slipping, maybe. Haven’t one of those pull ring cans go bad on me, but the black olives going off surprised me.
One has to believe and there have been reports, in the past, of government preppers. If remembering correctly it was for members of congress and their families. One would believe this continues to this very day. Not surprising for humans have always prepared for times when the unthinkable could happen. Human nature is to prepare for any contingency which may arise.
Yup....and....they call terrorist associates.
Going to ground? The govt already knows so its too late. Just keep it from the locals who might Target you
I have never had a ring pull can go bad until this one, but believe me that sure got my attention
Good one.
