At his press conference a few minutes ago, Obama whined Boehner wouldn't return his phone call this afternoon.
That picture looks dangerously like it could be a DC Freeper!
This is about what I’ve said for some time-—we are just a few Senate Dims away from a veto-proof bill. If we could get a best list of likely switchers then the folks could light up their wires and put some targeted pressure. Where is Joe Manchin for instance? There are more than enough Senate Dims up for election in ‘012-—they should get veto proof pressure to the MAX.
Thanks for starting this discussion...
I was busy last night at Walter Reed and missed the coverage.
I must say we have some grumpy souls posting on this thread...we are all upset with “O” but why take it out on each other?
Today is my three quarter century mark and I guess I have seen it all...and may live long enough to see it again?
-—other party has no power to change-—But Boner and the house have a great deal of power that can be exercised over the Senate Dims. For example each Senator has his pet homeboy projects nestled into each spending bill. By gentlemen’s agreement they each get an un-debated alotment. All Boner has to do is target those individual bennies to get the attention of any particular Senator. The way to give the Dims a headjerk is for the house to start blocking funds for Dim projects-—and publicize why. And make clear the cuts will get bigger each time a Dim whines——hardball is required now.
You are spot on!
My Vote is with Humblegunner!
Well thanks!
That sounds good and I hope they do it but that stands apart from what I was saying.
Cutting a deal with the commies to raise taxes however, would be committing political suicide.
Plus he couldn't get the votes in the House to pass it anyway, the Tea Party Caucus appears to be unified on this one (finally).
If not for that he would stab us in the back without breaking a sweat and be out on the Golf Course today.
You know there are *other* conservative forums, right?
</memory lane>
Ah... a little more detail, or at least a link?
Please>
>> 800 billion in *new revenues* agreed to better damn well be explained.....completely.
Guess they’ll just have to pass the bill before we can find out what’s in it.
Even so, the corruption is rooted so deep and far I'm not sure this “machine” can be stopped by our election, especially since it crosses over to the International Banking Systems and their agendas for changing the currency worldwide.
There is so much political and financial posturing going on by money hungry powerful leaders worldwide now...to see who's going to be top dogs when push comes to shove, it's difficult to determine who is really going to end up on top of the heap.
God Bless America!
You’re right..was a good read...thanks.

I don’t think this post (yours) was a good call.
