At his press conference a few minutes ago, Obama whined Boehner wouldn't return his phone call this afternoon.

I think Boehner should go. Imo obama was trying to piss him off by being demanding he be there, hoping to play victim if Boehner didn't attend.
Yup obama would've gone in front of the cameras again. All wee-weeeed up and whining about how Boehner doesn't answer his calls or or show up at any meetings.
Obama sounded like a jilted woman today.
Boehner wouldn't even answer my calls! sob....

Hugh Hewitt just tweeted that we need details on what this $800B in new revenues are. Im sorry but any deal that has revenue, aka, tax increases in it is a LOSER for the GOP.If those new revenues are the result of killing off ethonol subsidies and the like, they are alright in my book.

Seems like a lot of folks here missed that.
800 billion in *new revenues* agreed to better damn well be explained.....completely.

Nah, the powerful lobbyists will make sure that never happens. It'll be stuff like mortgage/health/charitable deductions no doubt.

It doesnt surprise me that boy president wanted an extra $400 Billion at the last minute. It wasn't just an extra $400 billion - it was $400 billion in tax increases.
Good job tonight Mr. Speaker.

Boehner was a man today. He didn’t cry, he was an American.

I’m liking Erick Erickson right now because he’s really holding Boehner and McConnell’s feet to the fire. And thank god for people like Mark Levin pointing out that Cut, Cap and Balance allowed for a $2.4T increase in the debt ceiling proving that the GOP is already compromising.

Correct, stay cool, stick to the plan and keep saying no politely while working with the spinate. If he can orchestrate a deal that makes reforms, doesn’t raise taxes and gets a balanced budget amendment though he will go down in history along with great Speakers of the past.
Of course, all of this is a big IF.

The McConnell plan is not a plan we want at least that I’m aware of. I think it sucks
