At his press conference a few minutes ago, Obama whined Boehner wouldn't return his phone call this afternoon.

Boehner says he’s going to the White House tomorrow. Says he trusts Obama as a negotiator. Idiot. When you are dealing with rat media that are essentially an arm of the DNC, it is smart to take the high road.

why go to the White House tomorrow? For what purpose other than he thinks not going will be a PR problem?
Kill 'em with kindness? Politely stick to your guns and speak for the American people, explaining foreign concepts to Obama like freedom, liberty and the right of the individual to keep the fruit of his labor. It might drive Obama out for another press conference, where this time he cries and wets himself.

Boehner says had framework agreement with WH for lower rates, broader base, more effective collections that would increase revenues until yesterday when Obama demanded $400 billion in new taxes. So the bad news is that Boehner will raise the debt limit for dropping the $400 billion in new taxes.
The good news is that (judging from the timing) that money was the demand of the Senate Dems- who aren;t going to be happy.

Hugh Hewitt and Dan Foster at NRO tweeted that Boehner agreed to $800B in new taxes but Obama wanted $400B more. I’m sorry but Boehner is a liar if he says no new taxes but agrees to “revenue increases” via closing tax loopholes. Those ARE tax increases.
