I think you would be more welcomed on them by the ‘attack and destroy ‘ threesome (all good teams are in three's over history) if you were posting the first time here after 13 years of a dormant account , and THEN spamming the word ‘PDS’ over and over. And NEVER post comments relating to the actual thread contents you are making comments to, or even to the comment itself, NO, NO, NO, that would be a waste of bandwidth.
Instead SPAM threads with 'PDS', 'sick', 'stupid' . Dont-ya wanna make America a better place ??

Bronze, I’d turn that same back to you. I agree completely we need to turn this country around. If by going down your path we elect someone in the primary that can’t win the general...did we turn the country around?
Sometimes folks here are so concerned with how “pure” the candidate is by the time they figure out they can’t win, we have a liberal for 2, 4 or 6 more years. See Harry Reid...just about anyone on the planet could have beaten him, but we nominated the most “pure” candidate and he’s still in power.
That’s what I’m talking about. Of course Palin, or Bachmann can win the nomination, but if putting them against Obama means he dazzles the sheeple in this country to win another 4 years, I don’t want it. I want someone to BEAT Obama, and if that means I have to put my vote down for someone that is slightly less conservative as a tradeoff to beat Obama, then that’s what I have to do. It’s about winning...isn’t it? It’s about stopping the insane change...isn’t it? You can’t do that unless you win the election.

As a returning freeper, it is not hard to determine which candidate threads generate the excitement and passion of freepers. Palin sure looks like the favorite pick of a lot of freepers.
I voted for Reagan in 1980. They said the EXACT same thing about him! So, I don't buy that premise. It's cheap, and a cop-out! I will be BLUNT about it, as much as I believe in the Constitution of this country. I say VOTE for the person who you feel is best to "lead" this country out of this mess - not who you think is going to "win" an election. Be it, Bachmann, Romney, Pawlenty, or whoever. We need to people (voters) with some BELIEF system behind them, not just a RACE-HORSE bet behind them.

There was absolutely no insult toward Palin supporters in what I wrote last night. Palin supporters DO make excuses for her. That is truth. Just look at the nonsense in this very thread about that Newsweek cover photo. Some people found it unattractive, so they immediately began spinning excuses.
It's not as if I dislike Sarah Palin...after all, I was posting in support of her before many had even heard of her (please ignore the incorrect pronoun case in this post)--heck, I even joked that she had a "'G' for 'Gondring'" tattoo!
But I much prefer those who work hard in supporting her to those who are just rabid in attacking others. So many here are lining up to be whiners later on...they'll be claiming "fraud" after they've turned off all independent voters and we end up with another Dem victory.
