Polls show there's an anti-Mormon bias among voters - especially Democrats, more than a quarter of whom say they wouldn't vote for a Mormon. But this video of a Memphis Fox affiliate ridiculing Mitt Romney about his religion is a real wake-up call [video]. The whole news segment appears to be about Mormonism and the 2012 election, but skip ahead to the 3:20 mark for the worst of it [video].

Count on every new election year getting more outrageous and possibly more violent until the country boils over, possibly like in 1860 or republican democracy as we know it peters out.
I think Mitt will mirror Sir Harry's viewpoints as well.
Eeny meeny miny mo...
Agreed. They would ridicule a Catholic, a Baptist or a Jew as well. Believe in God and you are pretty much fair game IF you are a Republican. I think if a Democrat ran and was a satanist... they would discuss how “open”, “modern and unique” their religion choice was and how it would help the country.
Yeah, I have my own interests in converting Mormons back to Christianity, however, if anything, the last thing neccessary for this is guys like this one on TV. Frankly, he’s encouraging us to not be missionaries to them in the manner that Jesus recommended.
I am trying to imagine the “mindset” with which anyone could think it proper to mock someone’s religion on a TV news ahow. I am failing.
Well, I guess the point is, a reporter shouldn’t be mocking *anything*...they report, we decide... I don’t like Romney and do not want to vote for him but that video was disgusting.
Well, this guy in this case is likely to get posted up by the left, as a poster child of what the right is, we all remember how the Anarchist who shot Giffords was portrayed as, right?
Needless to say, all Mormons are definitely very different from scriptural Christians, and their "Book" that was "translated" with the help of "peep stones" finds them among what many believe to be a rather select group of monstrously deluded religious fruitcakes.
And as you so aptly put, The Lord is watching. Amen.
8^D
That's it in a nutshell. There is little difference between Mitt and Obama.
Amen indeed. The Lord will help us through this. I trust and believe His loving hand will guide us all.
Revealing the truth of what people believe is a good thing. If people really knew what liberals believed, none of them would get elected.
Seems to me there is a real lack of manners & common sense in the media. It is lacking in many people too sadly.
What the euphemistically called 'reporter' did was mock and ridicule Mormons--the people--under the guise of exposing what Romney believes. To mock Mittiac's fellow religionists on a supposed News program, laughing at the foolishness in MormonISM in the context of mocking the people, is disgusting because it is so Alinskyesque to ridicule Mormons--the people--when they're trapped in that religion.
As a poster already stated, it mkaes it doubly hard to reach the people caught up in this religion when idiot reporters mock people who are being deceived.
There’s no video at that site.
Agree. I do care more that he got a number of deferments during Vietnam based on that religion.
Amen! Don’t care about his religious views (even though I don’t agree), it’s that liberal streak that will keep me from voting for him.
I agree with you there, look at his track record as a governer. His religious beliefs are the least of our worries. He is socialist-lite IMO.
The reporter was disgusting.
I don’t give a hoot about the mans religion and anyone that does is a fool in my book.
I care about him being a RINO.
As Glenn Beck wound his show down he tried to get as many of the candidates on the show as possible. He’s had Sarah Palin on, Michelle Bachmann, Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, and Rick Perry on but the only one he really slammed was Romney and it was over political ideology (Socialism lite)
Those pushing Romney’s candidacy are kidding themselves if they think his religion will not be a major factor.
