Bristol Palin tells "FOX & Friends" that her mother, former Gov. Sarah Palin, has made up her mind and "definitely" knows if she is going to run for President or not.
BRIAN KILMEADE, FOX & FRIENDS: "Do you get the sense that your mom has not made up her mind yet or do you think she knows and hasn't told told?"

I would have to read all the sections of the law.
The law may only apply to current employees.

Sure, right after you name another viable candidate who quit his/her elected position to write books($), give paid speeches($), get a talking head gig on TV($) or star in his/her own reality TV series($).
I look around and don't see anybody but Palin(TM) who fits that description...whom do you see?
P.T. Barnum. That’s my own contribution to the “Palin(TM) is ________________” list.
“You speaking about honesty after that post?”
Yes.
But feel free to not vote for me.
"(b) A person may file a complaint with the attorney general regarding the conduct of a current or former public officer".
"Current or former" with no qualifier.
The law applies to Palin(TM) for as long as she lives.
If we accept, for the sake of argument, that your reading of the law is complete and correct (and I have no reason to doubt that you are correct), then wouldn't it make sense for Palin to amass a personal "warchest" to ensure that she can cover any related legal fees if she was going to actively run and invite such suits again?
So, if Palin(tm), as a self-professed Christian disagrees about a significantly serious topic with, oh, say, Billy Graham, another self-professed Christian, then who gets to decide whose side God’s truth is on?
Then, Romney is as big a fool as Giuliani was in the last election. A candidate can't get blown out in Iowa and be legitimate frontrunner. He at least has to finish a strong second there.
The point is not that having to reply within twenty days to each accepted complaint would hurt her financially (although I'm sure that this would be a concern).
The point is that each filed complaint, whether accepted or not would become front-page, evening news, Sunday morning headlines.
Each new complaint would give the media the opportunity to resurrect all the old stuff (in the interest of context of course.
Further, each would give new life to the quit story since this was one of the reasons she gave for doing so.
It would be Swift Boat on steroids and would effectively derail a Palin(tm) campaign.
Puppage, you want all the facts before you went further in responding to your friends. Unlike some minions here who only speak what they have been spoon fed by the media. Good for you!
This is perfect. pnsn vs. Estar. You two embody the parody of Sarah Palin common types of posts (neither being 'good' IMHO): 1) she can do no wrong and is our ONLY hope (um, no); and 2) she can do no right, will never be able to win, blah, blah, blah (could have come straight from DU). FR is better than this.
Go for it. Battle away. But remember. Imagine, if you will, DUers are reading this and love every minute of it.
They will take it to The Lord. How about you?
IMHO this was no slip of the tongue by Bristol, this was to a tidbit to keep us Palinista's Salivating and to make Chrissy Mathews pee his pants, ditto that the rest of lame streams out of the loop and to use an info-tainment medium to do it! No need to use traditional means to get it out, go around them and even use a division of theirs as a cloak!
Another Palin Media Tweak of the Day brilliantly stratigized and perfectly executed, at their expense with a Schadenfreude moment in effect to only be relished by critically thinking conservatives and the Palin's themselves....
I imagine they are rather “entertained” by all the Bachmann trashing going here also. (And who might be doing the most trashing do you suppose?)
One can’t know truth about someone if they aren’t even truthful themselves. As they say, deception begets deception
