The GOP is determined to commit suicide, again.

Of course, Politico, which is the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party online, is promoting Romney in hopes that the TEA Party members will sit out the election if he is nominated.

If so, their failed president, whose approval numbers will be about 30% by next year, would still have a chance of being re-elected. They think they are being clever, but this is totally predictable.

If the GOP is embracing the RINO philosophy it should go the way of the Whigs.

This is not a dilemma. Mitt Romney is a liberal.

Hey Politico, I heard that Mittens is going to oppose the Prince of Zamunda and run for the Democratic nomination. What do you think about that?

What dilemma? I do not want Mitt Romney to be President, but I will vote for him if he is the only choice other than the Marxist Mr. Obama. I do not believe that our republic can survive another four years of movement toward Communism. I don't think Mr. Romney will do our country much good, either, but will do less damage.

Romney’s campaign is making fraudulent phone calls as the “National Republican Party” to seek out opinions, then specifically ask about Romney. I let the guy have it on the phone. Told them I am no longer registered as a Republican as long as they keep running RINO liberals and getting away from our conservative ideals. Then I hung up on him. I have had two other calls since, from a Massachusetts phone number. I will no longer answer that area code.

Anything written by POLITICO must be viewed as propaganda. OK Tea Party, you better get on the Mitt bandwagon or you will be crushed in 2012. That is the funniest thing I have heard in months.

How come you never hear something like this said, “You moderates better not elect someone who’s going to cause the base to they either unenthusiastically vote for him or not vote at all.”? How come the pressure is always on us to conform to the moderates and “undecideds”?

Well I’m saying it now. If Mitt gets the nomination he will not be president. Osama Obama will be. A huge bloc will either not vote or will not help him win. the problem is the party leadership likes being the minority.

What dilemma? The Tea Party should treat Willard the same way it would treat any other Socialized medicine supporting, gun-grabbing, pro-abortion, big-government, Socialist, Liberal.

Vote for someone else.

Dear Mr. Vogel (author of this article) -

I, a TEA Party participant, will gladly vote for a wet sponge if it would unseat Mr. Obama.

Fortunately, there is about a year to go before we all know whether the candidate to unseat Mr. Obama is Cain, Bachmann, Romney, or a wet sponge.

I don't see any dilemma here.

“Romney’s campaign contends that his business background and fiscal management in Massachusetts make him a good fit for the tea party.”
Wrong. You can not be a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. Also, Romney has proven, by his words and actions, that he is, at best, a RINO.

No dilema here. I will never vote for Romney. I will also never vote for Obama.

If the Republican party (aka the Spend and Spend party, aka the "stupid party") is interested in my vote, they will put someone conservative on the ticket.

I want a President who will wear out the veto pen, and start most veto letters with, “I can find no warrant for such an appropriation in the Constitution of the United States, …” With our current Congress, there is no reason Grover Cleveland's records for most vetoes in a single congressional session and most vetoes in a single presidential term can't be easily and significantly eclipsed. We just need to find a candidate who cares about the Constitution. Unfortunately, in the Republican party, I don't think there is one.

“What to do about Mitt Romney “

Pat him on his back, tell him “thanks anyway,” and send him on his way.

What’s so hard about that?

It's not a dilemma for the silent majority known as the Tea Party.

It's a dilemma for the ruling-class RINOs who are about to be trampled if they don't get out of the way.

No dilemma here. Romney will not receive my vote, period. Just as McCain didn’t in 2008.

And disagreement over whether to actively oppose him

No need to actively oppose Romney. Just loudly and strongly support the good candidate(s).
