COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - All eight suspects are in custody after a brutal attack in Five Points early Monday morning which left the teenage victim in critical condition, according to Columbia police.
Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Timmons said most of the eight suspects are juveniles, and did not release the names of any of the suspects. Timmons said no charges have been filed so far, though possible charges could include assault and battery and strong-arm robbery.

•Blacks are an estimated 39 times more likely to commit a violent crime against a white than vice versa, and 136 times more likely to commit robbery.
•Blacks are 2.25 times more likely to commit officially-designated hate crimes against whites than vice versa

No group is going to make the calculation of
“he has 8 rounds, there are 10 of us, we can still take him”
because no one wants to be one of the 8.
It is unlikely justice will be served in this case.

Some very unhappy campers there in Columbia judging by the comments.
They probably can’t count anyway. Oh, and actually I would have 25 rounds counting 2 spare mags and one in the pipe.

All the comments were tiptoeing around the real motivator for this crime.
The victim was a skinny white boy, alone, and the thugs were just scoring one for 0bama.
"Hey, whitey, yo phone fell outta yo pocket as we was beating yo face in, so we took it, ahh-ite?"
Unsuspecting white suburbanites, and those who live in smaller cities, are now dealing with violent crime rates that used to be confined to inner-city slums.
There are no "safe" neighborhoods any more. ANY parking lot, ANY fast-food restaurant, ANY shopping center could be the scene of an unfortunate encounter with some of our predator class.
Personally I’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
I wonder what race these black children were?
Who values the well being of its street punk clients far more than it does those from whom it extorts the money it consumes.
But at some point survival instincts kick in. Not even the lawmakers can stop that.

That’s exactly my reply when asked why I, a field radio operator, was carrying an M-16 with 500 rounds rather than a .45. I got down to 120 rounds during one op and had to divvy those up with my buddies.
Never ran out, though!
