On the day of the release of Undefeated, the new Sarah Palin movie, The Stakes are high indeed
Its an amazing, somewhat frightening time that we live in today.
We are witnessing the slow but steady collapse of the US economic system thats been in place since the end of WW2.
Does anyone really think that gas prices wont continue to rise? Energy prices wont necessarily skyrocket? Housing prices wont continue to crater? Foreclosures wont continue to blight the entire housing market?
On the World stage, the Arab Spring has become a scary echo of Europe circa 1938, with Jews now concentrated in one small Country, and a hateful United Nations determined to force them to submit their sovereignty.
The productive nations of Europe are expected to carry the unproductive ones in perpetuity.
And we have a Presidential Election rapidly approaching, which will determine who will lead the United States into the future, and what direction we will take.
The United States is looked to for leadership in the world, as it has been since the end of WW2. We are that Shining City on The Hill that Ronald Reagan spoke of, inspiring millions across Eastern Europe to demand their dignity be respected.
Since that time, we have been negligent in our role as World Leader, subcontracting our role out to The United Nations. The results have been dismal, but anyone familiar with the UN Charter and basic human nature really hasnt been surprised. Saddened and disappointed, yes.
Isnt it time for a leader with a vision for America that lives up to the stated principles in our founding documents? A leader unafraid of World Opinion when the only opinion we need to consider is that of The Supreme Deity, when its all said and done. A leader who reflexively puts the needs of their country ahead of the demands of their political cronies, and is willing and eager to break up the revolving door of Washington Insiders and the Well-connected Wall Street Crowd, in favor of Main Street, USA?
I submit to you, for your approval, Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska as the best nominee to handle these daunting tasks.
It is one thing to be able to speak in an agile manner out both sides of ones mouth about any and all issues. Washington, DC is full of these types, and there is an ample supply elsewhere as well. So we must look beyond mere words, to candidates with proven track records of standing up for their constituents, and against the Good Old Boy networks that so predominate and pollute our present political climate.
As last weeks e-mail release inadvertently but eloquently highlighted for us, Sarah Palin brings scruples and dedication to the job when she signs up for it. Her work ethic, and the level of personal conduct she demands of herself are a great example for those whod serve under her, and I claim shed be a role model for young, idealistic public servants for years to come. The Movie Undefeated comes at just the right time, too. This movie will give us a new perspective on this charismatic lady from Alaska, whose track record in Alaska was truly remarkable. The country has never really gotten to know the Real Sarah Palin, who had meteoric success on a bipartisan basis in Alaska until she became an existential threat to not just Barack Obama, but the entire Washington Establishment.
Its also worth noting that even though Filmmaker John Zeigler has had a well-publicized split with the Palin camp, he did produce an outstanding documentary called Media Malpractice. I recommend it to anyone who wants to see the truth about the lengths that the media was willing to go to in order to ensure the election of their chosen favorite, Barack Obama. They absolutely surrendered any claim they may have had to objectivity, and Zeigler has captured it well in this. Available in DVD, its well worth it to refresh your memory about the role the media played in the 2008 Presidential Election.
Polls indicate that the public is not satisfied with the present field of GOP Candidates, and who can blame us?
The GOP has tried for many months to sell us an assembly line of Anybody But Palins, and seem to be good with trying to unite us behind the Author of Romney-Care, which serves as the basic blueprint for Obama-care. Im not smart enough to figure out how the first is a fine piece of legislation, but the second needs to be done away with. Moreover, I dont think they really are serious about replacing it. Combined with his enthusiastic embrace of ethanol subsidies, and Global Warming when the evidence for it is specious and dishonest, and the table is set for an electoral disaster.
This will bring such a depressed turnout for the GOP that they will badly lose both sides of the Congress unless challenged strongly before its too late.
None of the other candidates running for the GOP nomination have a serious chance of winning, either. They are simply being used as either ratings-fodder for the 24-7 news cycle, or as a pawns to keep the GOP race from being a cold Palin vs Romney matchup, because the GOP insiders have no confidence that their guy Mitt can beat her one-on-one. Not only that, but they fear offending us, her loyal followers, so must resort to using others to do their dirty work.
Well, if not offending the status-quo is what the Republican Party seeks this time around, then Sarah Palin is certainly not their cup of TEA. But we have been avoiding confrontation for more than 20 years now, and where has it gotten us? I maintain that the list of problems that I started off with is partially a result of a collective failure of will on the part of the GOP. Certainly the left-leaning Democrat Party has led the way, but when it came time for the Republican Party to stand up and say No! they chose to avoid the confrontation. Ironically, because they flinch when threatened to be called mean names, the left now freely calls them The Party of No even though they almost never earn the name! The first rule of dealing with a bully is, at some point, you have to stop handing over your lunch money.
That brings me to Sarah Palin. Sarah didnt earn the nicknames Sarah Barracuda, or The Wasilla Warrior just because theyd make a good press release. Competitive to her core, shell stand and fight for worthy causes just as fiercely as she defended the basket way back in High School in the process of helping Wasilla High School capture the Alaska Girls State Basketball Championship Trophy in 1982.
Almost thirty years later, Sarah Palin was been made for just this occasion. All the attributes that shes shown consistently since entering public life are exactly whats needed in Washington to get us back on track.
Instead of being afraid of the media and team Obama, Sarah will rightfully turn the election into a referendum on the performance of the Obama administration, and by implication their apologists and enablers in Congress and the media.
But Sarah does not just offer criticism. She has been putting forth sound proposals on a variety of relevant issues across the spectrum, and upon examination, shes got 70% of the nations voters agreeing with most everything she wants to do. If youve not done so, check out some of her Facebook postings.
No one else even comes close to her encyclopedic knowledge of energy issues, and understands the dynamic links of energy and financial independence, of energy and security, and of energy and sound economic policy. Given the dismal track record of the present regime, why wouldnt the country pay close attention to her when she speaks about these issues?
Not to mention, who can command the attention of the average taxpaying voter like her? We know that shes one of us, and we can trust her. She wont hire a staff of Washington Insiders just to fill the roster. Rather, shell make sound choices based on those who are willing to embrace a pro-American vision, and put in the tough hours to make it happen.
The entire World is looking for leadership from the USA. Our best leader is Sarah Palin. Will you join in and help to propel her forward to the presidency, and start the restoration of the American Promise?
The only thing that will get us over the housing market blight is a reduction in inventory. And until businesses have the need to relocate new and existing employees, the housing market will continue to stagnate.
And more on topic: I like Sarah Palin and will definitely vote for her if she does run, regardless of what the pundits say. I haven't heard anything she stands for that I'm against. She understands economics, energy, and national security at a level that none of the other candidates do.
And if nothing else, the way that she has been attacked from the day she rose to stand on the national stage during the 2008 elections means that the liberals and rinos are really afraid of her, very afraid. That alone is enough to guarantee my vote, even though there are many more reasons than that!
Well written vanity. Thanks for taking the time

Well, that certainly explains all the Blue Helmeted KIAs in Iraq and Afghanistan...thank you so much for clearing that up....I was really starting to believe that is was actually US troops doing the heavy lifting and the dying that goes with it.
Great first article post palin45potus!
But it belongs in bloggers/personal not news/activism.
Don’t worry you’ll get the hang of it.

Yep, we all know that all those voters on the right who turned out in 2010 only did so because we were promised ice cream....won't fool us twice.

Please explain in detail exactly why the American voting public will choose four more years of the obama disaster over Pawlenty, Bachmann, Perry, Cain or even Romney. Please be specific.
I’m with Sarah.
IF SARAH DOES NOT RUN - THE MEDIA WINS.
I like Sarah Palin very much and would vote for her if she ran, however IMHO what is going on in the USA and the world is beyond her control or any other human being....
I believe GOD and his divine plan will play out, Man is no longer in control and liberals and demonic spirits know their time is short...

Really? Sound proposals?
Please link to her detailed plan for the economy, for the Mid-east, for immigration, for saving the dollar, for creating jobs, for containing China's overseas over-reach, for disabling Iran, for ending the wars, for saving Social Security, for juggling India and Pakistan, and a few dozen other "relevant issues across the spectrum".
btw...tweets and FB postings do not come close to reaching the level of "sound proposals" so please direct us to where we can read the real thing.

Ah yes, the average American taxpayer who made $12 million or so last year, mostly as a celebrity.
Gotta say sparky, you've got me convinced.
The way things are looking right now, I don’t believe Palin will run. IF — big if at this stage — she runs and gets the nomination, I will vote for her as the Republican nominee. But I increasingly don’t like the woman. Sure, I agree with most of her policy stances, what I know of them. But more and more, the woman is unlikable to me. When I’ve tried to explain why, her fans here prefer to flame rather than understand. More’s the pity, because sometimes the “canary in the coal mine” has something valid to point out. Or, to put it another way, no one benefits when only “yes” men and women are heard.
So, for me it would be a hold-my-nose kind of vote if she was the nominee. I’d be voting against Obama, not for Palin.
Agreed,,,number ten crossed the line.
If she runs it will be the 1st time my wife and I will give the maximum donation allowed by law.
Oh come on now, that comment makes you as bad as the worst liberal out there. Attacking young girls because you don't like their mother is not cool. Shame
Well deserved, thank you.
Palin is aware of who her enemies are which includes much of the MSM and many in the GOP elite. She has a keen sense of self preservation. Consider it a strength.
