When Bob Dole was running for President, he was asked about the abortion plank in the Republican platform.
He replied, who cares no one pays any attention to that stuff.
Promises mean nothing, which is why we need leaders with character, not smooth talking hustlers, who have been on the public dole for decades.

Concerning queer marriage:
Even a President Romney can't trump God and God's nature.
For someone who is working his way to godhood, it's within his nature to try.

You're kidding right? Exactly the response I expected.
"All is hopeless. Third party is our only chance."
Which is, of course, the equivalent of political surrender.

With Romney nothing will change. The cancerous work of Obama & co. will remain. He's week on the Second Amendment and lord knows what kind of Supremes and other Federal Judges he will appoint.
I just have to doubt that Mit will generate a campaign that will oust Obama.
Right. Just say Hell no to Romney.

I confess. I voted for McCain. Because he was the only valid choice.
I confess. I would vote for Romney in the general. He would be the only valid choice.
I confess. I will vote for the most conservative Republican choice in the primaries. Which means I won't vote for Romney in the primary under any circumstances.
If that offends you, I won't apologize.

As I gather, then, you would prefer an Obama victory to a Republican president in 2012 -- if he is not the Republican you prefer.
Am I correct?
Not being contentious, just trying to clarify the distinction between our positions.

I’m afraid all the states with open primaries might give us Willard the RINO.

If you genuinely interpret "No More RINOs" as being equivalent, rhetorically or otherwise, to "would prefer an Obama victory in 2012," then you are are neither honest enough nor intelligent enough to hold your own in any rational discussion on such matters with the likes of me.
Not being contentious; simply (and rightfully) dismissive of the same intellectually bucktoothed arguments as were mewled by all the same members of the anti-conservative apologia choir four years ago, in dull, unblinking support of that season's appointed RINO du jour.
Shorter: too damned old to smile sweetly while some anonymous internet anklebiter attempts to score cheapjack debating points by attempting to cram words in my mouth, son. Either "gather" better, or else stop wasting Daddy's time.

I wasn't for McCain. I won't be for Romney.
Yet, by your standards, I'm not a conservative.
That defines the problem we concservatives have.
Romney is sitting on 30% of the GOP vote. Which means that the non-Romney vote is approximately 70%. Like McCain, though, he's going to win...unless conservatives can unite behind somebody!
We're on the same side. Why are you giving me shit...???

Point to the specific word(s) above giving you trouble, comprehension-wise.

The fact is, if we don't start getting the facts out there on Romney's record--and soon--to our Republican friends and neighbors, they'll ram him through and then we'll be forced to go 3rd party.
The ramp-up to defeat Romney starts yesterday. Post this article to FaceBook, your blogs, etc.
