The questioner was Politico's Mike Allen who hosted Wasserman Schultz this morning at a breakfast event at the Newseum in Washington. Allen pointed out that "under the Weiner standard" (a phrase that sent his audience of political observers and reporters into a fit of giggles), Clinton should have left office once details of his lies about an affair with an intern were revealed in 1998.

“I think that particularly because there was an effort to not tell the truth, I think that because he has engaged in some what I think is some very inappropriate conduct that has distracted his ability to do his job and distracted from almost all of our ability to do our jobs and make sure that we can effectively serve our constituents, I think that the best conclusion is that he should focus on addressing his problems and resign from the House. “
And Clinton was different?
Clinton was GUILTY of murdering those folks at WACO and should have been tried, convicted and hanged.
Let’s see . . . Clinton is an accused rapist, sold government secrets to the Chi-coms, was a sexual predator, and his wife committed numerous felonies in the White House (where most other people would still be in prison if they’d have done that) . . . and Weiner is an a$$hole who exposed himself to, quite possible, minors . . . and probably did so with taxpayer-paid equipment and on taxpayer-paid time.
But Weinie has to go????????
And, of course, for some, the bar is lower than that.
Wouldn't have made a difference. His idiot constituents are standing by him now, they'd have stood by him then. This cross-dressing stuff isn't anything to them. See my tagline...
Comrade Clinton also gave missile guidance technology the the chicoms in return for campaign contributions. He should be hanged for TREASON.
It just the nature of "no means yes" and "meaning of is" for 'rats, where things of often opposite of reason and morality.
I wondered why they waited until the windiest day of the year to conduct a gas attack, which would diminish the gas’ effectiveness. Gee- - they must have had something else in mind.

ding-ding - give that man a cigar!
(No wait, I guess give that woman a cigar? Whatever, anytime Clintoon is mentioned, a cigar has to be part of the story.)
Clinton already had the organization ready to counter attack any accusers and rally democrats to his defense, Ken Starr in this case. This he put together as a governor and expanded in 1992 campaign, Weiner (aka Weinee) was more like a deer caught in headlights.
DNC continues to play the “hide the Weiner” game..........
The main difference is 1,000 FBI files.
Clinton was no different. Unless you believe that Betty Curry was actually present while he was getting Lewinskied, it was a slam-dunk obstruction of justice/witness tampering against Clinton. Curry testified that Clinton coached her on her upcoming testimony, "We were never alone, right? You were always in the room with us, right?"
How I wish the interviewers would be more quick witted to immediately hit back with that fact. The look on the face of the Clinton apologist would have been priceless.
Is that a woman? ...looks like someone with a really bad sex change.
He arranged for personal visits ~
Which means that Weiner's sin here is one of manners, not of substance!
I award you the “Post of the Thread” trophy!
