Reporters lined up in Juneau and in front of computers across the country spent the afternoon poring over 24,000 newly released emails from Sarah Palins first year and a half as governor, hoping for a bombshell.
Many of the emails deal with the mundane business of government. Others show her corresponding with aides, admirers and members of her administration about everything from her views on dinosaurs to fisheries policy.
They show her acknowledging encouraging notes from constituents who hope John McCain will pick her as the running mate, as well as startlingly nasty hate mail and death threats. Palin herself is intensively involved in dealing with the press, monitoring her image and complaining about unfair treatment long before she became a national figure known for diatribes against the lamestream media.
Her tight-knight gubernatorial staff was put on the defensive when she was picked for the 2008 GOP ticket and national reporters swarmed the surprise new political celebrity, the emails show. Theres even an unsolicited note from Newt Gingrich among the flurry of email traffic between Palin and her advisers looking for ways to respond to the media inquiries that ran from the comprehensive to the unusual.

Of course not. Only a fool would have expected otherwise. Like the NYT and the WaPo soliciting readers to help scan the emails for juicy stuff. Idiots!
Yet ... just wait until the our “watchdogs” get done spinning and taking out of context.
Wow! Do you have a link to that?
They don't even have to spin. They'll just invent things and attribute it to her.
Too bad. There goes my hope of a 4th of July candidacy announcement. That’s OK. I want her for president. I don’t care how she gets there. July 16th works fine for me.
To: President Obama
Hey, Prez
Gotta question for you
.Can you look out a East Room window and tell me if I will see the Potomac from my House?
Thanks for checking.
Sarah
If I recall correctly, The Palins used to spend every July 4th fishing in Alaska. Not sure if her busy schedule still allows for that or not.
This is precisely why Ann Coulter's new book, "Deamonic", is so timely. The Left's utilization of the 'mob' throughout history has now been documented by Ann.
Media attacks on Sarah are a mob-action, and one that's gone unabated since she entered the national scene. They can't be reigned-in, embarrassed, or subject to constraints utilized effectively on individuals as they are a MOB. Mobs get a special pass; one must allow them certain transgressions due to their MOB status- they can't control their urges due to their mob-iness.
Slow to evolve, the MOB in it's characteristic 'retardedness', must receive special consideration- a Special Olympics for The Many Aligned Similarly. I doubt we'll ever hear anything from them approaching the likes of our Declaration of Independence, such as: Government of the Mob, by the Mob, and for the Mob (in this context 'the People' has been interpreted to mean some form of collective).
That our republican form of government hasn't protected us from these attempts at mob-ocracy, or tyranny by the majority, is depressing until one realizes that mobulism is perhaps the more natural state of mankind- willing to join one, or willing to be overrun by one.
Which brings us to Obama, his 'community organizing' skill, and not much else. Is the picture of what this man sees as America now finally taking shape? Any clearer? I hope it is because protests and demonstrations are in our future as long as this low-rent rabble rouser remains in office.
Our Republic was designed to protect us from Mobs and did so for many years. Perhaps it was a form of government ahead of it's time, of late, it seems to have lost it's ability to deal with today's mob mentality, be it the John Stewart Show or public employees in Madison, Wisconsin. (Just wait until California gets going with it's mobism. The party is about to begin, folks.)
If the several states, eunuch governors, and a flaccid tenth amendment weren't enough, we now have a central government willing to fill the vacuum with Viagra induced spending that will last more than four hours. Someone call the doctor.
No big bombshells? The only bomb that exploded was the one in the occupation media’s face.
Folks, let’s just remember this. The next time ANYONE is nominated on the Dem side we must file a FOIA for ALL their emails, tweets, etc.
Whether they were an elected official, a business person, whatever job they had.
We need to fight fire with fire from here on out.
Democrats “deeply saddened”.
Even though I was offline yesterday, I heard liberal heads exploding all over the country eysterday. Gotta love it!
Can anybody say BACKFIRE?
Yea - been an unmitigated disaster for them this.
It a National Lampoon movie. I been laughing my a$$ over the whole thing. What a clusterf*** the media has made themselves into.
Thank God Sarah is on ownside.
BTTT
Here's what I think....the following is my humble opinion.
1. Since the msm used the FOIA to demand to see Mrs. Palin's e-mails as they are - according to law - part of the "public record"....can not some one else demand under the very same law....to see the "public records" of the stain while he was a fake senator???? Why has no one (say the faux right wing biased FOX News Organization?) come forward to demand this? Why hasn't this been done by now?
2. Given that....after the liberal feeding frenzy (having non-4th estate people reading through these as opposed to "professional journalists"....and there is nothing to be found........do we not feel that this is going to work FOR Mrs. Palin?
Won't the general public (most noticeably the "independent" voter) recognize an msm failed smear campaign?
Watch to see....as time goes on and the e-mails begin to prove how courageous, smart, savy, and powerful Mrs. Palin really is....for this entire smear campaign to "go away"...
Going to be very interesting to see what comes of this....
IMHO...
