Sarah Palin emails provide no big bombshells
Politico ^ | 6/10/2011 | MOLLY BALL

Reporters lined up in Juneau and in front of computers across the country spent the afternoon poring over 24,000 newly released emails from Sarah Palin’s first year and a half as governor, hoping for a bombshell.

Many of the emails deal with the mundane business of government. Others show her corresponding with aides, admirers and members of her administration about everything from her views on dinosaurs to fisheries policy.

They show her acknowledging encouraging notes from constituents who hope John McCain will pick her as the running mate, as well as startlingly nasty hate mail and death threats. Palin herself is intensively involved in dealing with the press, monitoring her image and complaining about unfair treatment long before she became a national figure known for diatribes against the “lamestream media.”

Her tight-knight gubernatorial staff was put on the defensive when she was picked for the 2008 GOP ticket and national reporters swarmed the surprise new political celebrity, the emails show. There’s even an unsolicited note from Newt Gingrich among the flurry of email traffic between Palin and her advisers looking for ways to respond to the media inquiries that ran from the comprehensive to the unusual.

From what I heard, it was released in PDF Format which would allow them quick keyword searches.

“Yes, yes, but that’s just code for “Let’s send all the liberals to labor camps and make them listen to Conway Twitty.” Don’t you see? Don’t you SEE??!??”

And the problem with that is? ;)

I am curious what she said about Dinosaurs because if she said Dinos were created by god 6,000 years ago the media would have made it a headline on CNN 10 minutes ago.

Yeah..I’m not sure that was every proven. Matt Damon sure liked to use it as an example of whether or not it qualifies a person to be in charge of the Nuclear codes....

Palin is untouchable. She is too righteous and has no skeletons in the closet.

Most in politics, government, media and big business just assume Palin must have some dirt to dredge up - since they all do, they assume that everyone else does as well.

Unfortunately they’ve guessed wrong here. Palin has no dirt to dredge up. Most everything they smeared her with during her VP campaign was either made up or spun wildly. What dirt have they honestly dug up on her.

Nothing. She is untouchable, and they can’t believe that any politician on earth can be that clean. They will keep digging, because they will never be able to accept that she is righteous and without dirt to find. I’m not saying she’s perfect, but what negatives we find about her will likely make the MSM yawn before they try to spin it against her. They just aren’t going to find any kickbacks, sexual assaults, bribes, Whitewater deals, cattle futures, or crotch photos in her closet.

It will be fun watching them search and come up empty.

In the meantime, they have already slandered her with everything they could make up, so as they continue to “cry wolf” longer and longer, it will have less affect.

The only person who can harm Palin is Palin. Yes, the left hates her, but most in the nation at least respect her.

She is untouchable. Her campaign is going to be a lot of fun for us conservatives watch unfold. So, when does she announce? Someone here suggested that on June 16, 2011 she passes some deadline for people to investigate her as AK Governor or some such. That sounds reasonable to me.

I would like to see Palin announce her candidacy on Independence Day in front of Independence Hall, but hey — it’s not up to me.

No big bombshells?

So there were little bombshells?

In short, the MSM wasted their time and money trying to dig up "dirt" on Sarah Palin. Boy, are the stockholders of the MSM companies going to be asking a LOT of questions about just how much money was spent on this endeavor.

"I am so sorry that the office is swamped like this! Dinosaurs even?!”

Looks like the lamestream media was following her around looking for dirt even then.

Really? The fact that Palin is who she says she is should be considered a bombshell to the MSM.

How about THIS bombshell:
Palin was in favor of rejecting money for the "Bridge to Nowhere" in favor of giving it to Minnesota to rebuild their collapsed bridge because "the nation can pull, and work , together and make wise decisions on federal priorities"

And this was A YEAR before she came onto the national stage!

She didn't say anything.

One of her staff members e-mailed her about the kinds of stupid irrelevant questions she should be expecting from the press. Her views on Dinosaurs was one of the expected questions that her staff expected she would be asked.
