As Governor I fought the Obama Administrations plans to cut funds for missile defense in Alaska. So imagine how appalled and surprised I was to read this article by former Clinton CIA Director James Woolsey, appropriately titled Giving Away the Farm, concerning President Obamas latest bizarre actions relating to missile defense.
President Obama wants to give Russia our missile defense secrets because he believes that we can buy their friendship and cooperation with this taxpayer-funded gift. But giving military secrets and technologies to a rival or competitor like Russia is just plain dumb. You cant buy off Russia. And giving them advanced military technology will not create stability. What happens if Russia gives this technology (or sells it!) to other countries like Iran or China? After all, as Woolsey points out, Russia helped Iran with its missile and nuclear programs. Or what happens if an even more hardline leader comes to power in the Kremlin?
We tried buying off the Kremlin with technologies in the 1970s. That policy was a component of detente, and the hope was that if we would share our technologies with them, they would become more peaceful. Things, of course, didnt work out that way. The Kremlin took western technologies and embarked on a massive military building program. History teaches that peace comes from American military strength. And a central component of that has always been technological superiority. Why would President Obama even dream of giving this away?
Members of Congress saw how foolish President Obamas gambit was, so they put a section in the defense appropriation bill that specifically forbids the federal government from spending money to share these technologies with the Kremlin. President Obama actually threatened to veto the defense appropriation bill over this section of the law! Fortunately, the House passed the bill with a veto-proof majority, a whopping 322 to 96. Attention now turns to the Senate.
Why is it that President Obama seems to work so hard to give things to our enemies, while at the same time asking friends and allies like Israel to make sacrifices?
During these tough economic times when we are facing massive deficits and a competitive global economy, does President Obama really want to give away technologies that the American taxpayer paid lots of money to develop? Giving away our missile defense secrets wont make us safer. What it will do is create a situation where we are facing an arms race with ourselves. Russia gets access to our technologies, and we are forced to spend even more money because of the need to stay ahead. Does this make sense to you? Me neither. File this under WTF.

WTF was Obama's moniker for WINNING THE FUTURE.
Where have you been?
Forwarding to the hoity-toity crowd at Fox for their review.
Take note of how intelligent sarcasm reads:
Reader, suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself. ~ Mark Twain.
I did not attend his funeral: but I wrote a nice letter saying that I approved of it. ~ Mark Twain.
Jane Austens books, too, are missing from this library. Just that one omission alone would make a fairly good library out of a library that hadnt a book in it. ~ Mark Twain.
I did forget that one. Thanks.
They’re busy this morning making sh!t up. They don’t have time for it.
What are they saying this morning? I watched Imus.
And I did forward her FB page to Mr. Hoity-Toity and Brett Baier.
It also makes me wonder if Sarah is also making a Carter-esque mistake: failure to delegate. She's a fighter, an independent, and unconventional, which are all strengths of hers in this all-out war with the MSM and the Left... but she needs to learn to delegate some of the important work to the appropriate people. Presidents have cabinets (note: not czars). Sarah needs to put more responsibility on her team pretty soon. (I'm free for any advisor's role at any time!!!)
LOL..not watching. Just figured they were doing their normal thing. Sorry, not a Fox fan anymore.
KC, there is no way I can post the many, many thoughts that go through my head without inviting a visit from the secret police. For instance, I asked my friend the other day if it would have been evil to take hitler out before he caused the hideousness that enveloped the entire world.
I decided that nothing, even such a measure, would have stopped what it seems was preordained. The USA, G-d help us, has asked for this. We not only asked for it, we actively supported it by doing absolutely nothing to stop it though we have watched it happen for decades.
We kept electing the selfsame creatures of the night that headed us down this road.
I cannot even begin to tell you how disappointed and almost helpless I felt when Nevada sent reid back to the senate; when Arizona returned the treasonous john mccain; when California sent boxer back...etc.
I look at detroit, philadelphia, dearborn, minneapolis, chicago, new york city, los angeles, san francisco, to mention just a few. Decayed and rotting from within and spreading the rot far beyond their city boundaries. They have become war zones.
This will not end without bloodshed. obama has made very sure of that.
Win The Future, friend.
Please! “We begin bombing in five minutes.” by Reagan was oh so non presidential by the media and he was President! What is Presidential? It’s answer is subjective to many
Fortunately you have hope, HaShem looks out for his people, and Jewishness will be our saving grace yet again, if G-D no longer wishes to bless this country, than we must return to the true promised land anyway

My friend thinks it would have been the right thing to do, but my friend lives in a socialist European country that is anti-semitic to the bone, and he cannot see any change for the better happening anytime soon in his own country. I warned him ten years ago that if they started letting muslims in, even ONE, they would try to take over. He didn’t think that could possibly happen. He knows better now.
What gives me hope for THIS country is that by and large, we are still a G-d centered culture. My being a believer makes me think that G-d will punish but not destroy. It depends on us. All the omens point to the fact that we are pretty much on probation here. But I don’t know if we will get another chance after this.
As for Israel, land of my forefathers, it is undergoing its own wrestling match with HaShem. They know G-d’s rules a well as anyone, and yet they do not obey. They will never have peace until they walk the walk set out for them thousands of years ago. We have become divided against ourselves. Peace, peace, when there is no peace.
As long as Israel remains politically correct, trying to please all the world all the time while ignoring G-d’s Commandments, they lose.
Are you an adult? Really?

Margaret Thatcher won’t meet with Sarah Palin during her trip to London, en route to Sudan: report

The “Iron Lady” is drawing a curtain between herself and Sarah Palin.
Margaret Thatcher, the former U.K. Prime Minister - and heroine of the former Alaska governor - has no interest in meeting the “nuts” potential presidential candidate, Thatcher aides tell British media.
Rush Limbaugh thoroughly debunked this “report” yesterday. It originated in the guardian...the guardian...the guardian, left wing rag extraordinaire. If you wanna slam Palin, better find a better source that has a source, because the guardian...the guardian...the guardian did NOT.
Zero hates our Country and our way of life. He is doing his utmost to destroy us.
Maybe we should send them some real polling results so they can be fair and balanced instead of supporting Romney the whole time.
