Fortunately you have hope, HaShem looks out for his people, and Jewishness will be our saving grace yet again, if G-D no longer wishes to bless this country, than we must return to the true promised land anyway

My friend thinks it would have been the right thing to do, but my friend lives in a socialist European country that is anti-semitic to the bone, and he cannot see any change for the better happening anytime soon in his own country. I warned him ten years ago that if they started letting muslims in, even ONE, they would try to take over. He didn’t think that could possibly happen. He knows better now.
What gives me hope for THIS country is that by and large, we are still a G-d centered culture. My being a believer makes me think that G-d will punish but not destroy. It depends on us. All the omens point to the fact that we are pretty much on probation here. But I don’t know if we will get another chance after this.
As for Israel, land of my forefathers, it is undergoing its own wrestling match with HaShem. They know G-d’s rules a well as anyone, and yet they do not obey. They will never have peace until they walk the walk set out for them thousands of years ago. We have become divided against ourselves. Peace, peace, when there is no peace.
As long as Israel remains politically correct, trying to please all the world all the time while ignoring G-d’s Commandments, they lose.
