I have a couple London newspapers from the last week in May of ‘44. They have crossword puzzles. Lotsa names...Maybe I’ll post them on this site. Wonder if they have “secrets”.

Omaha and Utah were the American beachheads.
Juno and Sword the British ones.
Gold was the Canadian beach.
Correct?
Anyway, sixty seven years later and we cannot thank our soldiers ever enough. Honor to them!

I had the opportunity to view a friend’s dad’s flight log from D-Day. He flew three sorties and a total of 13 hours that day. It was land, refuel and rearm, and take off.
