After interviewing Sarah Palin, Chris Wallace talked about her with his panel of guests and revealed that he was very impressed with her appearance. Unlike previous times when he interviewed her, Wallace noticed this wasnt just you betcha she was pretty sharp on the issues.
Wallace was eager to see if anyone else agreed with his review of Palins interview:
I thought she was a boffo performance today. It was the first time that I ever saw her and thought this woman is a serious if she decides to run candidate for President. And a serious possibility to be President.

Here's the whole story of Paul Revere's ride:Remember how Sarah Palin said "Let's party like it's 1773" and the usual suspects, many of whom excoriated her on the matter of Paul Revere, berated her for not saying 1776? But she was referring to the Boston Tea Party that took place in 1773, not 1776.
Revere confronted 2 British regulars manning a road block as he headed north across Charlestown Neck. As he turned around, the regulars gave chase and he eluded them. He then continued on to Lexington, to the home of Jonas Clarke where Sam Adams and John Hancock were staying. There, his primary mission was fulfilled when he notified Adams and Hancock that "The Regulars are coming out!" (he never exclaimed, "The British are coming". This would have made no sense at the time since they considered themselves British).
Revere and Dawes then headed for Concord and came across Doctor Prescott who then joined them. They decided to alarm every house along the way.
Just outside of the town of Lincoln, they were confronted by 4 Regulars at another road block. They tried unsuccessfully to run their horses through them. Prescott, who was familiar with the terrain, jumped a stone wall and escaped. Revere and Dawes tried to escape and shortly into the chase they were confronted by 6 more regulars on horseback. Revere was surrounded and taken prisoner. Dawes got away as they were taking Revere into custody.
The British officers began to interrogate Revere, whereupon Revere astonished his captors by telling them more than they even knew about their own mission. (HA!) He also told them that he had been warning the countryside of the British plan and that their lives were at risk if they remained in the vicinity of Lexington because there would soon be 500 men there ready to fight. Revere, of course, was bluffing.
The Regulars had Revere remount his horse and they headed toward Lexington Green, when suddenly, they heard a gunshot! Revere told the British officer that the shot was a signal "to alarm the country!". Now the British troops were getting very nervous (hehe).
A few minutes later, they were all startled to hear the heavy crash of an entire volley of musketry from the direction of Lexington's meeting house and then the Lexington town bell began clanging rapidly! Jonathan Loring, a Lexington resident captured earlier, turned to his captors and shouted "The bell's a' ringing! The town's alarmed, and you're all dead men!"
The British officers then talked urgently among themselves and decided to release their captives so as they would not slow their retreat.
Someone recently posted on this website that Rubio has some dirty laundry issues, doesn’t Billy Kristol know that?
I also just watched the Cain video and have to say I am impressed with Herman so far. No one appears to be paying attention to him yet, but I think he is an important contender. Maybe Cain/Palin or vice versa.
There are two Palin TV performances that no one ever cites. Her governor’s debate in ‘06 and her interview with Maria Bartiromo on CNBC in March or April of ‘08. Both performances were subdued, knowledgeable and almost wonkish. She displayed ease with facts, sophistication while discussing issues and an articulate delivery that have not always been seen. On McCain’s advice she had fun in her debate with Biden and while she IMO won the debate, her style was folksy, and may have influenced her future speaking persona. If I had one suggesltion to give her, besides continuing to develop clear policy ideas, it would be to emulate Bibi Netanyahu. His performanes this past month in the US, both oratory and interview discussion, was the illustration in the dictionary for effective public speaking and discussion. Articulate, fact filled, from the heart, based in reality, and not above,in fact or perception, the heads of the audience.
Thanks for your excellent historical post!
do you always double post. read the history and understand what you are tlaking about before you make yourself look stupid.
Palin was 100% correc tin her statement. Your continued inability to see that shows she is smarter than you.
I would suggest you go check to see that she was absolutely correct on Paul Revere and not hurry to make an arse out of yourself.
“Mom, Chris Wallace is a jerk. He’s just pretending to like you. Don’t fall for it.”
Yep, she’s already running without announcing right now
Commerce
A true conservative network could steal 50% of the FNC audience within three months. Ailes is attempting to increase his audience by appealing to anyone to the right of CNN. He is following the old RINO tactic of ignoring conservatives and moving as far left as possible without totally alienating conservatives.
later.
Piper has always seemed to me the most like her mom. She is precious!
I have a Palin for President with Piper’s picture on it. Bought on ebay a year or two ago.
I remember watching that old governor’s debate back in 2008. Don’t remember the Bartiromo interview, but I remember how sold Kudlow was after he interviewed her on his show.
On the other hand, there’s no hope at this point for Romney or TPaw to overcome their stiff, unnatural styles.
Cain is very likable, but his stock, “I’ll bring in experts and then follow their advice” answer to anything he doesn’t have a clue about or whit of experience with will, I’m quite sure, come off as Admiral Stockdale-esque at some point.
LOLOL... your best bet is just AVOID SARA THREADS! Ain’t gonna happen.
I watched the interview, but I turned it off after Wallace had finished with her. Any panel that includes Podesta is worthless, IMO.
I noticed a change in her voice in the hannity interview. I’m glad someone else caught it.
DUDE! Where have you been? Even Chris acknowledged her looked up Revere on google and Palin WAS RIGHT. Geeezzzzzz
Once again .... go google for yourself. Not the famous poem, the history.
