I couldn’t care less. I’m just glad that he’s dead and that it was our military that killed him.
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
This is a big No No!
This administration doesn't know how to tell the truth its just not in them.
I assume Leon Panetta is not long for this administration admitting waterboarding got them the lead.
Early accounts of ANY news story very often aren’t true. I’m not making any excuses for the administration, and they DO lie without a doubt, but I’m not at all surprised that the description of events is changing.
All I know and all I need to know is:
“An AMERICAN stormed Usama Bin Laden’s safehouse and shot him in the HEAD with a RIFLE. TWICE.”
LOL ... It just don’t get any better than that.
Dead men tell no tales.
It was intel gleaned from rats at Gitmo.
Well did you?
1. After the operation, and the information wasnt gleaned from active sources, so its no longer relevant.
2. Bodies? No need. Hard drives and computers collected at the scene represented the real data, no need to risk anything by humping nameless corpses.
3. This wasnt a whos who, there was one target.
4. Perhaps because an informant would mean certainty and the fact of an informant is being protected. WTF? An informant or a courier being tailed, neither guarantee who is in the building. Im sure there was other intelligence that is not being shared.
5. Why in Gods name would you alert the Pakistanis when its strongly suspected that there are loyalties in question about some of the Intelligence and Military?
6. A drone or missile strike would have destroyed intelligence and could have certainly denied the absolute certainty of the target being neutralized.
7. The four other bodies were incidental. They were not targets of the mission at hand.
8. Were not privy to the exact details, they are coming out from conflicting sources.
9. Informant, willingly or unwillingly through covert observation, so what? Thats grasping at straws.
10. Current intelligence gathering techniques could readily provide the layout of the compound.
Now I am REALLY confused!
I think the story is that the nickname, or name of a trusted OBL courier was learned from Gitmo Detainees. Then it took years to learn who the courier actually was, and that was followed by phone calls of relatives being intercepted and other data until the courier was finally identified and agents begin following his movements. That eventually led to the walled compound and the fact that OBL was living there.
That's a weird article in the Telegraph that seems pretty far fetched.
Read somewhere in the voluminous reporting, that the Pakistanis are saying one of the tenants of the compound was taken out alive (denied by the U.S.)...maybe the snitch and he’ll collect the reward???
Part of the confusion, I believe is occurring because the administration wanted bin Laden dead, but international law being what it is (see der Spiegel), is questioning the legality of the kill. I think this is why they first said bin Laden had a gun, so it was okay to kill him. Then the truth starts coming out and they have to retract some of what was said at first.
The completely changing details about the assault have me really wondering what really happened and why the double accounts and what may have been gained by changing the original account to the second account. They are miles apart from each other.
BTTT
Even mouthpiece Jay Carney complained about being confused.
I'm getting sick of this crap. Anyone who asks questions is labeled a kook?
AFAIC anyone who accepts things without any questions is a brain dead fool.
And anyone who accepts what 0bowdown says at face value is a zombie.
