GENEVA The U.N.'s top human rights official says the global body wants details on the death of Osama bin Laden.
U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay says the raid on the al-Qaida leader's hideaway in Pakistan "was a complex operation, and it would be helpful if we knew the precise facts surrounding his killing."
Pillay has frequently stressed the importance of respecting international law during counter-terror operations

Watch the UN vacate America. If they can question America’s actions in taking out a common pirate killing American citizen’t then they can question anything. This’ll give them a beginning excuse to move elsewhere as we become a more nationlistic country. They’ll move within 5 yrs, would be my guess.
You left out the truck bombing of the World Trade buildings.
I’ve started referring to ‘Laden’ myself, as a result.
I’ll catch Rush later. That’s funny.
More to the point as far as the far left liberals and the anti-American UN are concerned, I left out the SEAL offenses: At a minimum they are guilty by UN standards of trespassing on OBL's private property, illegal entry into a sovereign country, discharging a firearm within city limits, littering if they neglected to recover their brass, arson (burning the helo), murder, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, operating a helo without proper lights, and failing to follow a registered flight plan.
Arrest order?
No, they were seeking him in order to deliver a mildly worded letter of concern over 9-11. But, arrest? Certainly not... that would deprive him of his universal freedoms. But the UN can take solace in the fact he was buried at sea with full muslim honors.
FUUN
Yep, that’s about it isn’t it. FUUN indeed.
UN troops massecre (rape, pillage) people regularly.
Who investigates that?
Love it!
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
..................
My thoughts exactly.
I did not know that. Thanks for the information.
Wonder if BHO would try and get that modified?
Tell the UN to eff itself!
AMEN!
A UN investigation would end up helping BO, so we cant win.
We need to remind people constantly that BO had very little to do with the killing of Bin Laden. The fact that he is going to NY Thurs to take a bow, shows how shallow he is.
And asking GW to join him in a bow/share the glory, shows how rotten this guy BO is from the core.
GW would not have been heading to NY for a bow.
Obama.....”Sir, I respectively decline to reply on the grounds it might incriminate me”
Obama.....”Sir unless you have evidence beyond hearsay, the charges should be dropped”
TO that I have only one comment..
EXCELLENT!
Butt out, b*tch!
We fund your sorry *sses then are supposed to listen to you lecture us on 'human rights'. I think not!
A bus driver's daughter from a poor Indian section of Durban, she was the first woman of color in Natal province to start her own firm, winning victories for apartheid's prisoners (including her husband) and becoming an advocate for women. She applied international precedents in her cases
Navi Pillays Cronyism
The world of U.N. human rights, best known for a human rights council with members like Libya, Saudi Arabia, and China, has just outdone itself. A short press release on Monday announces that U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay has made some new appointments. The biographies attached leave out a few salient facts and for good reason. The U.N.s top human rights officer turns out not to be the model of independence and justice she professes.
Pillay has chosen Swedens Lennert Aspegren for the job of independent expert and upgraded current U.N. independent expert American Mary McGowan Davis to become Aspegrens boss. Both are charged with assessing how independently Israel and its judiciary have responded to the notorious Goldstone Report. But the connections among Pillay, Goldstone, Aspegren and McGowan Davis, as well as other Pillay choices, are dizzying and disconcerting.
The saga begins a few months after Pillays ascendancy to the job of high commissioner in September 2008, during the Gaza war in late 2008 and early January 2009. The U.N. Human Rights Council began the New Year by doing everything in its power to prevent Israel from exercising its right of self-defense against Palestinian rocket attacks emanating from Gaza.
No state funeral for Osama! Adds up to eternal hate from Osama fans ... for America.
Dear Mr. UN Busybody,
Here are the details you requested:
Step 1. We found Bin Laden.
Step 2. We killed Bin Laden.
We in the United States thank you for your interest. Have a nice day.

GENEVA United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay on Monday condemned the Israeli military interception, in international waters, of a flotilla of ships carrying aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip, which reportedly led to several deaths and numerous injuries, called for an immediate and credible independent inquiry, and urged the lifting of the blockade.
She also urged the Government of Israel to heed the almost unanimous international view that the continued blockade of Gaza is both inhumane and illegal.
The blockade lies at the heart of so many of the problems plaguing the Israel-Palestine situation, as does the impression that the Israeli Government treats international law with perpetual disdain, she said. If the blockade had been lifted, there would be no need for flotillas like this.
