Blitzer & Co. on CNN have been crowing all night how this happened on Obama's watch. Another FReeper said that George Steponallofus on ABC is claiming "this is a huge political victory for Obama".
The glory does INDEED go to our US military, who accomplished this DESPITE lack of support from Obama and the 'RATs and their despicable Rules of Engagement.
I had to turn off ABC for that same reason. George Stephanopolous and his guests were immediately sprinkling touches of partisanship into their commentary. George smugly ribbed a former Bush advisor for that administration's failure to pull this off...one of his other guests said this was specifically due to the Obama administration's unique approach to the war on terror. This was being spun into a partisan story IMMEDIATELY by the MSM.
True, and I went over to DU. One of the first comments I saw was something along the lines of, “Can we leave now?”. That was about all I could stand.
