It didn’t take long for some of President Obama’s doubters to claim the long-awaited birth certificate posted online by the White House on Wednesday had been altered or might be a fake.
But a leading software expert says there’s no doubt about its authenticity, and he dismisses claims of fraud as flat-out wrong.
The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator — the premier program for computer graphic artists — “reveals” evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim it’s “proof” the file has been altered.
But that’s not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.
“You should not be so suspicious about this,” Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery. “I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.
Tremblay explained that the scanner optical character recognition (OCR) software attempts to translate characters or words in a photograph into text. He said the layers cited by the doubters shows that software at work – and nothing more.

This is what Obama does best. Creats an illusion and then tries to back it up with political cheerleaders. If he really wanted to 100% prove his eligibility then he would actually “UNSEAL” his vital records at the Hawaii DOH. But instead we get another fake document and his records are still under presidential seal so that nobody can do any sort of positive authentication. Trump is either lying or confused when he says he got Obama to “RELEASE” his records. All Trump got was another poke in the eye and more leftist ridicule from Obama and his pet Wookie in the whitehouse.
It was done long ago. December of 2008. He was hoping he wouldn’t have to use the faked document but the poll number and public opinion polls regarding this issue, plus Trump, forced his hand.

Something about this little tid-bit in the FOIA release feels very, very wrong.
That should have been question number one the day Obama made the "silly speech".
Question number 2 should have been why is he President with his father having been born in Kenya.

For instance, the birth announcement stuff doesn’t pan out with what is actually in the announcements; the announcements came in a different order in the Advertiser than in the Star-Bulletin and the 2 papers didn’t even have all the same names. Nordykes, for instance, were in only the Advertiser and 3 days later than Waidelich who was born at Kapiolani the day before Nordykes.
And HRS 338-17.7 only became law in 1982 so it wasn’t in effect in 1961.
If Obama had been born at Kapiolani his BC would have been in the same pile as the Nordykes’ and would have been “filed”/given a number at the state HDOH office on Aug 11th just like theirs. That part is accurate.
But the bigger problem is that the “date filed” is when the number was assigned, according to Janice Okubo, and Obama’s was supposedly given a number on Aug 8th that was higher/later than the number given to the Nordykes 3 days later on Aug 11th. That wouldn’t happen in real life, so either the BC#, date filed, or both have been fabricated.
The fact that Obama didn’t know a BC# and “date filed” that would work together suggests that he didn’t have a valid 1961 birth certificate to copy that information from.

Oh, thank you. I actually copied and pasted from that site’s website. So I just went back to it and checked why it was wrong. On their website they said if anyone wanted to post there, they had to use that address. But it was a typo! So I just emailed their Contact people and let them know.

Go find an early 1960s Hawaii LFBC with centered text. Then come back and we will discuss. Centered fields...with a 1961 typewriter....yeah.... You must be well under 50 years old.
Well I still use an old Underwood from the 50s and centering text in a field is no problem, just as it is no problem to create alignment over the course of a page. You just have to know how to use a typewriter, which perhaps few people do anymore but plenty did back then. It depends on the model of course, but I have several old machines, most from the 50s and 60s, and there are guides for spacing on all of them, whether you want to use them for a single row or to lock columns or margins for several pages. So, sorry, but that's not the problem here.
No, I am happy to clear this up. Yes, the stamp confirms that the document has been forwarded and is accurate. There would be no need for the original document to be stamped.
