It didnt take long for some of President Obamas doubters to claim the long-awaited birth certificate posted online by the White House on Wednesday had been altered or might be a fake.
But a leading software expert says theres no doubt about its authenticity, and he dismisses claims of fraud as flat-out wrong.
The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator the premier program for computer graphic artists reveals evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim its proof the file has been altered.
But thats not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.
You should not be so suspicious about this, Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software not evidence of a forgery. I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippingsand it looks exactly like this, he said.
Tremblay explained that the scanner optical character recognition (OCR) software attempts to translate characters or words in a photograph into text. He said the layers cited by the doubters shows that software at work and nothing more.

Well if he is txe expert, then txe issue is settled. /s
It’s also odd that I’ve seen a lot of OLDER birther claims (that have been debunked) getting repeated in the last few days as well...
I would also qualify as “Bither”/Proofer.
My theory. They did this weird scan on purpose to get the skeptics to continue on, while pulling the majority back to their side. The goal? To make the skeptics look nuts. This issue spun out of control for the White House in recent weeks and they needed to repaint the ‘birthers’ as nutty and subsequently try to paint the whole GOP a nuts, too. This whole thing backfired in recent weeks as the majority of voters started considering this an issue.
I cannot attest to the scanning resolution of a digit of the document.
We were told that the Department of Health created 2 copies of the document and it was given to a representative of the White House who flew to HI to pick it up. To me that means a printed copy.
If it is a printed copy of the document it will obscure any editing done by the Department of Health.
Now if it is scanned by Obozo’s techies there is another opportunity for manipulation. The document I saw was 100 dpi resolution and not that good of quality (the color version). The B/W version seemed cleaner, but I read that that document was created by the press from a printed handout they received at a briefing.
No one is going to accept an “abstract” as equivalent to a certified copy.
But ultimately it makes no difference, we are dealing with liars.
Wow, someone correct me here, but doesn’t an OCR function to read characters in an image to make them text?
And isn’t a icture scanned as a rastor image or a vector image, NOT ocr?
Is he saying they scanned the image as an OCR scanner but STILL had vector and rastor images in the final result?
I am sorry, but the twists and turns people go through to defend the boviously wrong things...
I have about three theories and that is one of them.
Obama had to arrange for a special courier to fly to Hawaii, pick up the certificate from the Hawaiian DHS, and hand carry it back!
He could have much more easily had it mailed directly to any favored newshound lapdog.
Instead we have a mystery worthy of a Sherlock Holmes story:
The Presidential Pedigree Papers' Peculiar Provenance.
Why go through the extra effort, time, expense and huge carbon footprint to have a document hand carried?
In a word, provenance. A document delivered directly by mail from the source is much less apt to be substituted with a forged document containing a preferred message than one hand carried by the trusted and hand picked minion of a person with an overwhelming vested interest the the delivery of a document saying exactly what the minion's hand picker wants it to say.
But that would be silly.
Who would lie to hold onto the most powerful office in the world? (Or to avoid being hanged for treason)...
Not only that but the numerical sequence is off.
She says whoever would have come in with that document would have failed to get a driver's license... Back to riding the bicycle nObama!
It's a double pun in English and Fujian if so, and outside of a handful of folks from Singapore and Canton, most Overseas Chinese trace back to Fujian ~ whether now, a thousand years ago or five thousand years ago.
Ordinarily those document numbers simply give a short "name" to the record and usually have nothing to do with dates ~ unless they were doing strange stuff in Hawaii.
Contrary to recent implications, new evidence supports that Barack Obama was not actually delivered in Kapiolani hospital, as records suggest, but, rather, he was merely examined there by a private practitioner, David Sinclair, in the days following his birth, which triggered the validation of an administratively issued Certificate of Live Birth registration, not a hospital generated birth certificate representing an actual delivery.

N&V: “DOCTOR Richard C. Lee, meet MYSTERY U K Le Lee”
So how do you interpret this result? I’m not a handwriting expert but I see virtually no resemblance between these two signatures. Besides the fact that the letter at the begining of U. K. C. Lee looks much more like a “U” than an “R”.
Are there any other comparisons of U.K.C. Lee having signed birth records? Besides the fact that Richard is identified as the President of the BOH in the first and the second is just a lowly registrar??
If all they did was peform ocr on the doc when scanning, all it would have produced is text to be opened in a text editor program. If the scanned it as an image plus text, they would get an image file and a text file. I don’t see where the need for using OCR software is needed at all for producing a image that they would put up as a JPG of GIF file for online viewing or a PDF for viewing or download.
