A senior CBS news anchor today labelled Donald Trump's campaign to raise doubts about President Obama's school grades as an 'ugly strain of racism'.
Face The Nation host Bob Schieffer made the comments in the wake of Mr Trump's calls yesterday for Mr Obama to release college transcripts 'proving' he had the grades to enter Columbia and Harvard.
The attack came as new research suggested viewers for Celebrity Apprentice - some of the most liberal for any TV show - were deserting the program due to Mr Trump's outspoken rants against Mr Obama.
The furore came soon after the President released his full birth certificate - finally putting the question of his citizenship beyond reasonable doubt.
Yesterday Mr Trump called on the President to release his college transcripts.
Reacting to the call, Mr Schieffer said: 'That's just code for saying he got into law school because he's black. 'This is an ugly strain of racism that's running through this whole thing.'

Hope Shieffer and CBS enjoy the libel/slander lawsuit that Trump will predictably file against them.
The president of the United States, at least since Nixon, has been fair game for anyone who wants to dig for dirt. It goes with the territory. He's the freaking president for gosh sake. I, for one, would like to see some evidence of his legendary intellect. He sure as heck hasn't displayed any since he has been in the public spotlight. If he can't stand the scrutiny, let him get the hell out the way. And stop hiding behind the race card.
We know that in your world anybody who is not a DemonRAT or a Communist or an enviro-whacko must be a racist by definition.

Instead of "Hope and Change", it will be "PLAY THE RACE CARD!!!"

Actually, I think Buckwheat survived and graduated law school because he’s black.
I need additional evidence before I would take a stab at how this criminal got into Hawvaarrd in the first place.

Bob Schieffer is an old liberal spouting the liberal knee-jerk reaction to any criticism or questioning of anything connected with President Obama. It’s really getting old. I believe that Americans will soon reflexively dismiss the ‘racist’ accusation aimed at anyone who dares oppose Obama because it is being used in a profligate manner and usually, inaccurately and unfairly, as with Donald Trump who is no saint but has never shown any sign of racism. Based on his response, I think Trump was really hurt by the accusation from the old lefty, Schieffer but I’m sure he’ll recover. Schieffer should be retired but he’ll more likely be promoted and win an Emmy next year.
Well, maybe the political parties could try to beat Trump with gay, transsexual, globalist, foreign communist women candidates of ethnicities that are harder to guess. They should go a little step further with political correctness.

Bob Schieffer was quiet then, never complained when the media made fun of Bush, but now with Obama he complains!!..... he is a hipocrite and ignorant!!!

No, suspicion doesn’t mean he is black. It means he may have had his law school paid for by the Saudis. It means our President may have been bought and paid for by outside interests!!!
