beautiful day....i've watched every minute since 3:57 EST. i'm a sucker for a fairytale. :)
TLC is reviewing the hats! LOL
Nobody does pomp and circumstance quite like them.
The wedding went relatively quickly. No real flubs although the ring looked a little tight. I prefer Kate's simple and tasteful dress to the crazed tissue paper of Diana's.
The crowds on foot are so orderly. I wonder how we'd do.
She spots him
He waits .. thoughts of beloved Mum
LOL! Too bad the butcher didn't wear a T-Shirt saying "I was invited to the Royal Wedding and Moochelle wasn't!"
She is begging for attention.
Diana’s dress was horrid I thought...the big puffy sleeves and all the ruffles and bows. It just overwhelmed her.
She was an attractive girl, but I never really liked any of her fashions.
It is gratifying to see a country not only respect its long history-—but to see the Brits revere, embrace and exalt their history.
Everything they do is a paean to history.
We, in the US, have to watch our history being dismantled by a bunch of crude, ignorant “progressives.”
Lovely, Star. (sniff)
Has anyone seen Rudolph since Christmas?
That's the thing. She's directing the alien invasion. That hat is her radio antenna.
You got that right!
I can just imagine how the crowds would have behaved if that wedding occured in America.
Brawls and demonstrations!
No I have been holding it in because I didn’t want to say anything but I wasn’t impressed by Kate’s gown. It reminded me of how everyone gushed over John John Kennedy’s wife Carolyn for her beautifully simple gown. I guess I am just not a fan of simple.
What about the Tea Party demonstrations though. They were over twice or three times as large and were peaceful and clean.
I picked up on that theme too.
Look like all the imam terrorism threats came to nothing.
All of it very moving and loving. And I did love
the minister’s homily. Words to live by.
My goof
I’m = I’ve
I’m a fan of simple on some. I don’t want to go all Tim Gunn but I thought Kate’s sister Pippa looked stunning.
I heard Joan Lunden say that Diana later said that the dress was chosen for her and that she, too, thought it was awful. A nineteen year old does what she’s told, but a 29 year old makes her own decisions!
