No I have been holding it in because I didn’t want to say anything but I wasn’t impressed by Kate’s gown. It reminded me of how everyone gushed over John John Kennedy’s wife Carolyn for her beautifully simple gown. I guess I am just not a fan of simple.

I’m a fan of simple on some. I don’t want to go all Tim Gunn but I thought Kate’s sister Pippa looked stunning.

Count me with you,.

Yes, I thought John Kennedy’s wife also wore a kind of stupid looking slip like thing. They gushed over it, not, I’m convinced, because it’s beautiful, but because it was being worn by a fashion icon.

Kate’s dress was pretty, of course. It was way prettier than the Victoria Secret thing worn by Caroline Kennedy, for sure. But it was nothing more than what your average bride might wear.

I’ll end with my opinion of Diana’s gown. I thought that thing was atrocious. Dag, it was great big, wrinkly, silly bows on the sleeve, big puffed sleeves, it was like someone gave my 7 year old granddaughter a pencil and told her to design a princess’ gown because that’s exactly the sort of thing a child would design.

Sometimes you feel like you’re standing out in the woods all by yourself, scratching your head, and wondering if your eyes are lying to you yet again.
