CBS News' Mark Knoller reports via Twitter on Obama statement at one of the three New York City fundraisers he headlined this evening:
"They're making enough profit," says Obama of big oil companies, calling for their $4billion in tax breaks/subsidies to be eliminated.
Obama said "we can do a lot" with the $4-billlion in oil company tax breaks. Said US should invest in energy of the future, not the past.
You’re also collecting enough taxes, Zero.
I think nobama probably said “I think we can do a lot more...damage to Free America...with that $4 billion we could steal from the oil companies.”
nobama hates you, hates your children, hates Free America, hates Americans, hates the Constitution and hates the Bill of Rights. nobama is a hate crime foisted upon America. nobana is the Destroyer.
Everything nobama does is intentional.
Last time I checked these big oilcompanies like Exxon make about 10% or less profit which is a pittance compared to the investment and risk involved.
Now the government ... makes way too much “profit”. It produces little of value except the military, NASA and our interstate highways.
What a pompous, arrogant, know-nothing, blowhard idiot this guy is. What he wants is less private sector profit, and more TAXES he can spend on cr*pola “alternative” energies and to bailout his union buddies. If there were any future in any of those “alternatives,” the private sector would have invented and profited from them by now.
This pathetic dumbass Kenyan... By now it is obvious that one part of his election campaign is to demonize America’s oil companies. They produce, what has the Kenyan ever produced except hot air?
All of the talk about investing in the future....blah blah blah.
What Obummer, the Marxist now posing as a Fascist, and his egg head advisors just do not get is that this country is supported by the labor of millions of people that must get up at 5:00 AM tomorrow morning and roll down their drive before 6:00 AM on the way to work.
They need cheap gasoline or diesel, as the case may be, and they need a reasonably priced vehicle to put it in.
And as for that line in an earlier speech to the effect that if gas prices are too painful, one should purchase a smaller vehicle that uses less fuel: How does a brick mason haul bricks, cinder blocks, sand and mortar in an economy size pickup?
How does a plumber with one of those big tool bodies full of pipe, tools, etc., do it with an economy sized pickup?
How does a roofer haul 1500 or 2000 lbs of shingles in an economy sized pickup?
Obummer, the Marxist now posing as a Fascist, claims to be the champion of the working man when in fact he does not have a clue.
A $60,000 electric car 20 years from now or even at the unobtainable 5 years from now will not take care of their needs.
They need transportation at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning.
The inhabitants of Foggy Bottom on the Potomac have no idea what the working man needs.
Soros is having a great crises.
Keep saying it one termer
Ffffuuubbboooo!!!!!! Piss be upon you!!!!
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
$36.5 billion in income taxes
$34.5 billion in sales taxes
$45 billion in other taxes
Talked to a friend of mine who has a trucker as one of many clients. The man said that last month, he paid $3500 for fuel alone.
That’s nasty.
Commie organizer, doesn’t have a clue, behind the bullhorn again.
Really?
And Wall Street TBTF banks DON’T make enough profit, eh?
Current and past congressmen need to have their pensions taken, their health care reduced to DeathCare levels, and NO MORE SPECIAL TREATMENT OF GOV EMPLOYEES ABOVE THE PRIVATE CITIZEN.
/vent off
Correct any errors here, but I believe Lucifer is holding a fundraiser tonight or tomorrow night ($35,000 smackers a plate) for his bosom-buddy hedgeHOGS....er, pardon me, hedgefunders.
