(CNN) The White House released President Obama’s original birth certificate Wednesday.

The surprise release follows recent and sustained remarks by businessman Donald Trump, among others, that raised doubts as to whether the president was born in the United States.

So, since johnny came late to the party, then that means all the facts change? Scrubbing might not have happened until later, but those of us that were following everything close knew of the discrepancy months before the scrubbing happened. The fact is, is that until THIS WEEK, Obama, himself had NEVER stated where he was born. Everything had been proffered through his handlers & ghost writer, Bill Ayers, thus it was all officially circumstantial at best until yesterday when we heard from the “WON” himself.

When Barack Hussein Obama places his hand on the Bible today to take the oath of office as 44th president of the United States, Barbara Nelson of Kenmore will undoubtedly think back to the day he was born. It was Aug. 4, 1961, at Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu.

Nelson assumed that West was the attending OB that delivered Obama. I don't see where Dr. West claimed to have delivered Obama. He only remarked that 'Stanley had a baby', which he surely would have known given that the birth occurred in the same hospital where he worked. He also would have known the name for the same reason.

That's good. I hope they add Natural Born Citizen language to the bill. I didn't see it in my perusal of it. Otherwise, Obama will just send a copy of his copy from yesterday as "proof". If they add it, it will force a determination by SCOTUS of Natural Born Citizen.

Well, if thats the case, then he certainly was not there to deliver Obama. I guess that puts to rest the theory that Dr. Sinclair could not have delivered Obama because Dr. West did. Thanks!

I am a business owner & I am a stickler for details. One reason is because the government is a stickler for details. The other is because it was instilled in me during my youth & education. Assumptions are not factual details now are they?

Since they were both in the interview, you would think that Barry would have answered that question, but it doesn't really matter does it? If she was the one who said it, he certainly did not deny it.

The statement on the Nordyke long-form is, “This certifies that the above is a true and correct copy of the original record on file in the Research Planning and Statistics Office Hawaii State Department of Health.”

Compared to now: “I CERTIFY THIS IS A TRUE COPY OR
ABSTRACT OF THE RECORD ON FILE IN
THE HAWAII STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH”

They deleted “and correct”, “original”, and “in the Research Planning and Statistics Office”.

They added “or abstract”.

So they’re allowing that it could be an amended record, could be incorrect, could be based on other records, and those records could be in a part of the DOH that doesn’t handle vital records.

Wow. Is there anything that this statement WOULDN’T allow? It’s like they’re saying “I swear that this is either the truth or not the truth, either the whole truth or not the whole truth, and either nothing or something but the truth.”

I wonder exactly when this change was made and exactly what led up to it.
