I caught the CBS News evening report tonight for the first time in about 2 decades. They led off with a report of Sarah Palin's speech in Wisconsin, and they of course provided liberal spin.
They claim there were far more liberals (i.e. union thugs) than Tea Partiers (claiming the thugs surrounded the smaller Tea Party crowd).
But something caught my eye during the report, specifically when they did a pan of the "liberal crowd"...but they pulled a Dan Rather by using video footage from some liberal rally prior to the April 5th Wisconsin Supreme Court election.
How do I know this? Well, if you go have a look at the video in the link above, pay close attention at the 18 second mark. There is a campaign sign being held by a liberal saying to "Vote Klappenburg on April 5th".
Here's a screen capture of the 18 second mark in the video (note that I included the entire title of the CBSNews.com video:
Why would someone come to a rally on April 16th with a sign for an election that has already been held (and lost by the libs)? Because the footage isn't from today...it's from earlier this year.
Why would See BS do this? No other reason than they didn't have the visuals to prove their were more union thugs than Tea Partiers...so they did a tried and true See BS method: they made it up!
looks like your video was pulled from the link....
They probably brought their Gore/Lieberman signs, too. They just can’t let it go.
LOLOLOL!
CBS is liberal junk.
It was cold, windy and it started snowing right about when Sarah took the stage. We have horrible weather here in WI. Horrible. Just a week ago, we were getting ready for the tornadoes, yesterday was high wind warnings with gusts to 50mph and today, snow. I knew Sarah probably loved that it snowed for her today.
“They just cant let it go.”
These people, who so wanted to be unlike their parents, are just like them. You know the type: the ones who used to creep you out as a kid, saying stuff about how when they were young, “In my day,...” or “Well, when I was about X years old, I remember the time...” and go on to lament and resent the picaune—every last one—wrongs done to them. The 60s generation is roughly in its sixties now for real, and they sound small and petty and just downright nasty, like the mean-spirited adults that they and we ran away from.
And these 60s children as adults are doing their best to institutionalize the mean-spiritedness and iron-fisted rule they rebelled against as young men and women. Talk about selling out! Wanting freedom to do as they pleased, they are enchained by their own ghosts, preaching that these same chains are ‘good.’ How strange to think that those who ran off to the open road and big city have boxed in their own worldviews with the parochial small-mindedness they sought to escape.
They probably brought the sign to both rallies.
I don’t see a white piece of paper hanging off the yellow sign. You can see the entire bottom of the yellow poster. No matter which side the white paper was attached to, you’d see it if it was attached to this yellow sign. Unless this picture of the yellow poster was taken after someone told the person with the yellow poster that the election was over, and it might be a good idea to take the white piece of paper off.
For the same reason people had Kerry bumper stickers on their cars until they scraped them off for Obama stickers?
oops. I saw the video. I can’t believe that someone is holding an old sign.
I was there and saw that sign. I thought about telling him that he missed the voting, but thought that would be uncivil. When you think about it, it is imbecilic.
BS it was easily 5 thousand.
You don't need to support Trump for President to like what he is doing.I doubt this guy will run but sure do like the fact that a bit of the negative facts about this administration finally get aired on the MSM and shows like the view.
great work - Now all theat is needed is for you to get Hot Air, Powerline and NRO to pass around your catch - soon it will be on Fox and you will have scored a great bomb to the seeBS network. Army of Davids march on.
It turns out that the video footage is from yesterday. Looks like some liberal loon brought a campaign sign for an already completed election.
Lesson learned? Never underestimate the idiocy of the left.
Beware AP
Ain’t that the truth. The Journal-Sentinel said the Capitol police estimated the TEA crowd at around 6,500, before the start of the rally.
The white Kloppenburg sign is not attached to the yellow sign. They are separate signs and as others pointed out, there is no deception from CBS, this time. The video is from Saturday. The guy is either on drugs or he didn’t have any other Klopp sign to bring.
There is a reason he’s been “allowed to speak in opposition.” Remember Ross Perot?
