"I don't think he is really serious when we see a campaign launch on the birther issue," Cantor said.
On Friday, Karl Rove told Fox News Trump is a "joke candidate" because of his birther-centric media cavalcade.
"It's amazing," Trump said. "He's so against me, because I am questioning. All I want to see is the guy's birth certificate."

“The Republicans have to be very careful of him,” Trump continued. “Because obviously Karl Rove hasn’t been doing very well the last couple of years...Whether you like it or not, George Bush gave us Obama, and I’m not having that.”
Exactly and Homo Rove slammed COD
I’m beginning to think we need to see everyone’s birth certificate... especially Carl Rove’s.
It’s great that Trump’s antics have raised the visibility of this issue, but he’s on the wrong page.
The issue isn’t so much BO’s BC, but the citizenship of BO’s father, whoever he might be. Maybe the BC could help with IDing him, but if he wasn’t a US citizen, then BO is not a Natural Born Citizen, regardless of whether he’s a US citizen or not. Two different classes of citizens.
I think people “love” any questioning of The One, any attempt to look into his background, his experience or lack thereof, his competence - so far anything along those lines is simply condemned as racist.
So does the state of Arizona: Proof of Citizenship
Now that it looks like he actually might, I am positive he's Perot II.
If he actually runs, his only goal will be to divert enough conservative votes from Palin to hand Obama a second term.
A vote for Trump will be a vote for Obama.
I know!
How dare that son of a bitch have an opinion?
Who does he think he is, acting all independently and stuff?
We need to suppress that sort of thinking, you betcha.
Perot ran as a third party candidate. Trump would be running as a Republican nominee.
I don’t know whether or not he will really run, but I am enjoying that he talks straight, not afraid of anything or anyone and he is making the “great O” shake in his boots.
He's entertainment value only.
If he becomes a viable candidate for POTUS then we are much further gone than most realize as a nation.
He will NEVER be POTUS, as you stated E., Trump can only be the reason for an Obama reelection nothing more.
“The issue isnt so much BOs BC, but the citizenship of BOs father, whoever he might be.”
Yes and No.
Where else would you find that information?
On the birth certificate.
There is obviously very damning information on the real
birth certificate.
That is why they are stonewalling.
So what?
Trump’s own audio clips from Mark Levin show.
Devastating in my opinion, and I’m sad to say they were a real eye-opener to me. Decide for yourself. This is really, really not good.

Highlights:
He says he is “liberal” on healthcare, and that we must have universal Canadian-style healthcare
He says he can’t understand why Nancy Pelosi didn’t do more to impeach the “evil” (his word) George Bush for “lying” to get us into Iraq.
He says he doesn’t understand why John Kerry didn’t win in 2004.
Said that George Bush was the worst president ever, although now he has changed his story to say Obama and Carter were the worst.
Don’t be fooled by this guy.
.
Everybody who had a professional interest in the 2008 election -- or so much as an ounce of interest in politics -- knew that Obama's father was born in Kenya months (if not years) before the election.
In fact, he stated the fact in his first book.
So, why do we need the birth certificate to prove it?
And, since his father's nationality didn't matter then, why would it matter now?
Trump's already said he would run as an Independent if he didn't get the Republican nomination.
This is also the issue that should be talked about. http://obamareleaseyourrecords.blogspot.com/2011/04/bill-oreilly-busted-caught-red-handed.html
It’s amazing how many people who want to know Obama’s past (and I consider myself a birther and support Trump doing this) want to ignore Trump’s recent liberal past. See post above.
