Lynne Tilton: "I Believe There Will Very Well Be Violence In The Streets In America"

Private equity maven Lynn Tilton warned NYMag that if the U.S. doesn't create more jobs, there will be violent upheaval.
The truth is, I believe that there will very well be violence in the streets in America."
Its my great fear. And I think the only thing we can do to stop it is by creating employment. Social unrest comes from people who cant take care of themselves. If we become a populace of the permanently unemployed, and Wall Street keeps going up, and multinational corporations keep making money, but Americans are unable to work and take care of their families, there is going to be social unrest.
I believe I have been chosen for this moment, where I can make a difference.
Tilton has already laid out an extensive plan for how she would create jobs and fix the economy. But "not once" has President Obama asked to hear her thoughts, she told the magazine, which recently profiled her.
The President is listening however. Tilton belives Obama lifted excerpts from her articles.
I mean actually lifting pieces."
Literally, I can give you paragraphs. I got like twenty e-mails after his speech, when he was like, We need to be innovators and the makers of things.
One woman who has seen her talk offers a catty explanation:
"You know, nobody likes seeing too much boob.

You know, nobody likes seeing too much boob.
Well, there is that one teacher on South Park.
You got that right. Except they probably won’t even file unless their spouse was working. Then they’re in for a shock!
What I fear is the debt limit. I think raise it or not there will be a meltdown.
Well, she is correct.
I believe every American should have the opportunity to dress like a hooker and run an already sick helicopter company completely into the ground.
There will Be Violence In The Streets In America.
My advise:
1) shoot straight
2) Do NOT expect help from the government/LEO
3) You will be on your own
4) Stay positive and and think of the violence as a way of removing a cancer(the left)
5) There is safety in numbers
6) Ally yourself with like minded neighbors
7) Know who your enemies are
8) Street violence has occurred before and people survived.
“You know, nobody likes seeing too much boob.
I dunno.
If that was true, Americans would never have elected Obama.
“You know, nobody likes seeing too much boob.
I’m trying to imagine how that might be, but then my mind begins to wander.....
Having seen the actual subject of the thread, I'm disappointed in my error.
You’d probably be better off just changing your diaper and waiting for your government check.
and here I am, one of those who cannot sleep w/o a pillow
What will be left to fight over?
The left has killed the golden goose that produces the ‘eggs’. If they go after the assets of the geese, the assets will be sold at ‘mark to market’ which means that the ‘wealth’ really was illusionary.
it’s the economic trends you must obey. The trend for production is declining. notice Lynne used the phrase, ‘people who cannot take care of themselves’. Telling.
In my town businesses are crying for workers! Ads go unanswered! Could it be the unemployed are better paid by the government so they are not looking for jobs? Could that be a part of destroying our economy? Could be!
By "we" she means someone else. Because all she has to offer is stale, recycled collectivist thinking.
The only people banking on general mayhem are the people who are either selling it or buying it.
Or when gas goes to $5 or 6$ per gallon as food prices and everything else continue to go up, and up and up.
Those conformable, most of which are on the government payroll in one form or another, don't quite understand the fuss and clearly find this rather amusing.
wow....a horsehead with a cow’s body and udder
damn forgot carrots at the grocery store
As a middle-aged guy, I'm living your advice whether I want to or not.
