Good grief people! Too many are jumping on the Trump bandwagon solely because of the Obama birth certificate.
Do you really want this man as your next president?
So, When did Obama ever run Casino’s?
So if Michelle Bachmann runs you’ll vote for Trump? If Sarah Palin runs you’ll vote for Trump?
I’m with you. Will never, ever vote for this guy. Mike Bloomberg with a bad haircut. Loves the clintons, loves j effin kerry. Frankly it’s getting harder and harder to come to the site and see all the pro-trump articles.
Doubt he becomes the nominee, but if he does, I stay home and change my party affliation.
End of story.
I really don’t see him running... he does this every season. I think it makes his ratings pop.
A little controversy never hurt anyone... and the Donald can pull it off... he’s already seen as eccentric and flamboyant.
Thanks for that succinct rundown of Trump’s policy positions. It was very helpful.
Right now I’m burned out with DC Republicans. They actively participated in a political process that created an unsustainable, economy-crushing debt. To say they’re better than Dems is faint praise, when we’re looking at a simply incomprehensible debt burden. I don’t know if Trump would be a radical enough budget slasher. What I do know is that he’s fearless of the MSM, and he’s a rock-bottom patriot who loves the USA. I’m favorably inclined toward him.
Trump on ObamaCare
If I run and if I win there will not be ObamaCare because its ruining a lot of companies. I have friends who own small companies, and theyre going to close those companies up because they cant afford ObamaCare. It will not exist very long if Im president.
Trump on pro-life conversion
I have changed my mind, yes. And a lot of people have changed their mind. And Ive changed my mind because Ive known people that have had children over the last number of years I am pro-life.
Yes, he says he's friends with Bloomberg and Guliani, and no, he doesn't like George Bush's presidency.
I am waiting for the answer to the following question:
Trump on the Supreme Court Justice he most admiresIf the Donald's favorite justice is Kennedy or worse, he's out. If it's Alito or better, I will seriously consider him.
I dont think I want to get into that at this moment, I think its a little too soon to get into that. Ill be answering questions such as that if I decide to run. I have to tell you, I know numerous of the Justices and I dont want to insult any of them to be honest with you by saying that I particularly admire one. There is one that I admire very much, but I dont want to insult anybody by discussing the one I most admire because I know a number of them.
I would encourage you to read the article yourself and make up your own mind. Trump has certainly "evolved" in his views. I know for many on this thread that's an automatic disqualifier. Yet I also know that, although rare, people do change. You make up your own mind on that score. I am amazed at the amount of misinformation/one-sided info that has appeared on this thread.
That dog must be gorgeous.
Trump is for Universal Healthcare? Where does he stand on Obamacare?
That’s a real tease on the SC Justice. I wonder when he will clarify that loose end. It really does matter. (I had already read parts of this interview. I hadn’t read the favorite justice part, though.)
My son’s Australian Shepherd, “Molly”, is a beautiful light Red Merle color with 1 blue eye and the best disposition I have ever seen. She simply loves everyone.
He recently made this declaration during his interview with Human Events:
Trump on ObamaCareFor those of you who aren't readers, you can see a video of Trump saying as much to the CNS news service here: Trump says Obamacare is Unconstitutional.
If I run and if I win there will not be ObamaCare because its ruining a lot of companies. I have friends who own small companies, and theyre going to close those companies up because they cant afford ObamaCare. It will not exist very long if Im president.
The curious can inform themselves about Trump's current stands on the issues at Human Events' website. In mid-March they conducted an extensive interview with the Donald. The full interview can be read here: Can Donald Trump Save America?. Excepts can be read here: Trump Unplugged. Non-readers can watch video snippets of the interview at these links:
Trump Would Bag Billions From China to Fund U.S. Entitlement ProgramsThe intrigued, but skeptical can read Ted Nugent's article on Trump here: Ted Nugent is cautiously intrigued by Trump, but Trump must lay cards on the table. Human Events is a very conservative newspaper. Back in the day it was said that HE was Ronald Reagan's favorite newspaper. I hope these links provide the curious with the latest on Trump. I don't think Trump's most recent statements should be given the silent treatment when coming to a comprehensive opinion about Trump.
Trump: I Can Bring Rush Limbaugh & Howard Stern Fans Together
Donald Trump: 'I'm a Committed Republican'
Donald Trump: American Airports are "Third World"
Trump on the Somali Pirates: "I Would Wipe Them Off the Face of the Earth."
Since Trump, if he runs, would be seeking the Republican nomination, and is obviously trying to establish his conservative cred, it would be incredibly stupid for him to name Kennedy or one of the moonbats. If he names a staunch conservative, the question would be how deeply held his convictions are.
On the plus side, if the BC issue plays out the way many think it will, the Dems and the MSM will be badly damaged. It will be harder for them to succeed with their usual, ‘If this conservative judge is confirmed, the world will come to an end’ routine.
Also, Trump would fight for his nominee. He would get in front of the cameras and make the Dems look like jerks for acting in their usual bastardly manner. So providing he made a good nomination, the odds of confirmation would be better than with the run-of-the-mill GOPer who folds when the Dem din hits its typical crescendo.
By all accounts, Trump is totally serious about running for President this time. Huckabee is the latest to state that Trump is in it for real this time (http://www.mediaite.com/tv/huckabee-lauds-trump-2012-bid-but-obamas-birthplace-not-a-big-deal-to-me/). And if Trump is serious, how far would he go to satisfy his ambition? Although not really a social conservative, would the White House be "well worth a conservative justice or two," to paraphrase Henry IV of France? (He was a Huguenot during the Reformation religious wars. He wanted to become the King of France, and needed to convert to the Catholic Church to do so. He is alleged to have said, "Paris is well worth a Mass"). That story may be apocryphal, but ambitious people will do almost anything to get what they want. What would Trump do?
One thing for sure:
Donald Trump is an American...
“ambitious people will do almost anything to get what they want. What would Trump do?”
Right now he’s pounding Barry like a jackhammer. And he will keep it up, as he slowly but steadily increases the power and frequency of the blows.
The problem for Barry and his handlers is how Barry handles stress. He admits that he self medicates—all the way up to cocaine—and this the one part of Dreams I believe. Alcohol is presumably more available to him under the circumstances than cocaine, and there is ample evidence he makes full use of it. I’ve seen pics where anybody not wearing full on blinders knows Barry has a hangover the size of Manhattan.
Nothing about this situation is going to improve as Trump ups the ante. Sure, people have been predicting a meltdown for a while now. It’s on its way. The vacations are coming ever more quickly on the heels of each other. Does anyone doubt that the availability of substances other than alcohol are one reason for them? Barry is a trainwreck waiting to happen; Trump is just kicking it into a higher gear.
Bachmann is at top of my list right now. She has better delivery of speech than Palin, and has better grasp of details. They are both pretty close in terms of their agenda. Trump is also very high on my list. I won’t make up my final decision in the primaries until after observing the debates.
