7:46 PM Central Time:
Statement from JoAnne Kloppenburg campaign manager Melissa Mulliken:
"Wisconsin voters as well as the Kloppenburg for Justice Campaign deserve a full explanation of how and why these 14,000 votes from an entire City were missed. To that end, we will be filing open records requests for all relevant documentation related to the reporting of election results in Waukesha County, as well as to the discovery and reporting of the errors announced by the County. We are confident that election officials in Waukesha County will fulfill these requests as quickly as possible so that both our campaign and the people of Wisconsin can fully understand what happened and why. Just as Assistant Attorney General Kloppenburg has run to restore confidence in the court, Wisconsin residents also deserve to have full confidence in election results."

I remember that. I thought that was awfully early to declare a state.
Go have a chat with Kathleen Harris about that. :^)
me, too. I treat it as (almost) sacred.
Nice pic!
0 to 0.5% margin, the public pays actual cost of the recount
0.5% to 2% margin, loser contributes $5 per ward or municipality
Margin over 2%, loser pays actual cost of recount

Heh----that WAS a nice play. Wonder how the Dems feel getting bashed using their own MO? ROTFL.
14,000 votes cannot be overcome with a recount and the Dems know it.
Judge Prosser on Greta was the soul of professionalism. No gloating.
Just forgot to tell the Asspress is all, so they could tell the Dems in Madison how many more votes were needed. This is great, funny stuff. Think Franken, Tim Johnson, Napolitano’s first election...and all the other rat thefts.
Yes, even kangaroos deserve a fair trial.
Maybe the Civil War wasn't necessary after all. The AP didn't certify Lincoln's victory, so it didn't count. The South seceded for nothing.
I have to admit, I read someone else’s comment and they said that. I later listened and didn’t hear her say that. Sorry. I should know better than that.:-(
I may be just a bit cynical about this sort of thing but has anyone else thought that the Dem operatives at the polls may be setting the Republicans up for a charge of vote fraud because these votes were found just when needed or perhaps setting up a defense for their "found" votes SOP?
I can see them coming back and saying "hey it happens -- Look at WI when the GOP found votes..."
They did not misplace them, they just failed to report them to the AP because they were omitted for a count update. They found the error and later corrected it, from what I understand.
Last I looked, elections are NOT determined by the AP and votes are not certified or counted by them. Not reporting votes for them to broadcast does not make the votes void either.

The votes are still official and counted and are documented by hard copy. They were not lost. It was just plain human error and the Democrats can't do much about it.
I keep seeing this information on shredding documents. I’d like to know more about this. Can you elaborate for me?
Rahm will go # 2 on the second city. ;d
I wear it when I want to piss off Malibu liberals... at least those whose memories extend back before The One...
Then we would be squawking.
No worries! It seemed to good to be true.
Thanks. I did find out where those statements came from. Some liberal blogs started spouting off that Prosser, being the ‘good’ conservative, should forgo recount because of the cost and the majority of the time it doesn’t change the outcome. I did go the the websites and see for myself this time. ;-)
