Telling him he and the pubies in high places owe us an apology and should hang their heads in shame for not calling his citizenship status into question before he was even nominated.

It’s quite amusing to see some after-birthers doing the good ol’ 180 with no apologies to anyone for the long-espoused ridiculing of proofers or ghosters.
Not all of them are (were) trolls but boy, they sound so tough on 0h0m0llah now, thanks to Trump who voiced a fraction of what proofers have been saying for over three years.

Where is the proof? Absence of evidence is not definitive proof. Clearly, Barry is hiding something in his BC, not not you, Rush, or anybody else knows exactly what it is. Plus, if there is a smoking gun that surfaces, the left and the media will claim it is a forgery, and life will go on as usual.
Like it or not, Obomba is the President, Pelosi signed off on his eligibility, and that's led us to the present day. I guess I don't see why Rush needs to take the lead on this. He is better served as a daily blunt instrument of pain for Obomba's agenda. Let Trump find out about the eligibility. What's wrong with that scenario, and why are people mad at Rush? Wasting energy complaining that Rush isn't Lead Birther is a distraction, as there are many current issues that are our reality that need to be addressed in the public arena.

Most FReepers seem to think Rush has been wrong. He SHOULD have been in the fore-front of this National Disgrace known as Certifigate.
I’m wondering when Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and the other GOP presidential wanna-be’s are going to wake up and smell the coffee.
If and when they do - won’t they look stupid as they piggy-back off the success Trump is having with this issue.

I have mentioned this before and will so again. Rush did say back in October of 2008, if Obama won the election it may be the biggest hoax every played on the American people. What did he mean by this? It could imply the BC issue. We have to remember if this issue was discussed at the level Trump is now broadcasting it by a true blue conservative it would have been long gone. Rush, Beck, Coulter all of them on the conservative side are better to let Trump tackle this one. It has much more credibility coming from him. Before we criticize we have to realize the correct way to settle the issue.
That's just not going to happen, though. I do like you are focused on 2012, since that is by far our most realistic chance of getting the clown removed from office.

Pelosi vouched for Obomba, which made him eligible. Court cases challenging constitutionality have been thrown out, regardless of the motivation of the judges.
I guess I don't see where this is going, without unimpeachable proof showing that Obomba is a liar and a fraud. Even with that, the Dems and the media won't recognize it as proof. I'm not happy that we have such an unknown as President, but that's the position we are in as of 11:43am PDT, 4/7/11.

There are legal mechanisms of getting rid of a president.
If Obama is ineligible based on the US Constitution, the US Supreme Court rules on that clause, and the House has the right to indict him for fraud.
You can’t say the laws applies in one case and it doesn’t apply in another.
We don’t have mob rule in this country.
Or maybe you explain another way to get rid of him that I am legally unaware of.

No, adherence to the Constitution is NOT a joking matter, and this should have been treated seriously from the stage of the primaries.
I agree. Rush has only touched the surface of the BC issue, and as far as I know, he's never discussed things such as the Connecticut SSN, hidden college records, the discrepancies in Obama's memoir, the disputes about how much time Obama spent in Pakistan, and so on. You can always tell when someone is uninformed about the BC issue and the broader issues because they mention the COLB and nothing else. But at least Rush doesn't rip people for "daring" to ask about Obama's past, like Beck does.

I don’t think it needed to be approached in such a way as to appear like a kook. To ask for verification of constitutional requirements in a sensible no-nonsense manner can be done in a perfectly non-kooky way. Ask for verification from all the candidates. When O fails to deliver, ask why. It is perfectly reasonable.
