I know that Gaddafi has been spelled dozens of different ways since he came to power but from 1969-2010 nobody seemed to have difficulty spelling ‘Libya’ which is only five letters.

In this past month of conflict I have seen ‘Lybia’ a disturbing number of times. So much for the Information Age.

Canada is good. I had a Canadian commander from NORAD during my last USAF assignment. Extremely professional - and he wouldn’t accept less than the best from his troops.

No worries there.

Wasn’t a Canadian general in charge when the Rwandan thing happened?

None of this matters. It will now be officially NATO but we are the primary player in NATO. Will our troops and aircraft now be pulled back from subduing a Libyan AF that wasn’t really there? I noted that Marines are now deploying to the area to take part in operations so it looks to me like we are upping our presence while der Fuehrer is providing himself with an excuse of “it’s not my operation”.

FUBO & FAD

Exactly! He can say that he took action and got in and out quickly before the dying begins for American servicemen and before his socialist-terrorist base turns on him completely.

Yeah, really.

I would suggest that you look up the roles of Canada’s Brigadier General Walter Natynczyk, Brigadier-General Nicolas Matern and Major General Peter Devlin in Iraq. Also, have a look at our leadership roles in Afghanistan. Our military commanders are more than capable.

Yes, General Dallaire. He was a poor choice. If I recall, he had very little field experience and bowed to the will of the UN leadership instead of using his head.

....Al Qaeda and the Brotherhood are probably snickering and standing back in disbelief as the UN and the world sets up a system to protect their movements as they rapidly set up the infrastructure needed to attain their highly sought after goals, A multi national Caliphate that is quickly being spawned with the ignorant stamp of approval of the world.

If that’s the case I’m sorry but you are hardly the only one doing it and that includes so-called respected media outlets.

Spell-check is a common feature in all browsers and most will flag/underline spelling errors without even requiring a Function keystroke.

Why not?.

I think Canadian commanders have proven themselves since the days of Vimy Ridge.

Obama gets us into a shooting war and then before the enemy starts to shoot back, he passes the football to NATO, which technically will be in violation of it's charter if it engages in offensive military action against Libya.

So all in all Obama violated the Constitution and the War Powers act to start a military offensive without an immediate threat to the US and without congressional approval; the UN violated it's charter by getting involved in a Civil War that does not involve any foreign invasion or squabble between nations and finally NATO violates it's charter by taking over military operations in a situation where no NATO ally was in any immediate danger of hostile military action.

Constitutions, charters, treaties..

FULL OF WORDS AND MUSIC SIGNIFYING NOTHING!
