Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol was among Sarah Palin's earliest Washington admirers, and helped bring her to the national stage, but he said this week that while he still admires her, he questions her choices and doesn't think she should be the Republican nominee for president.

My my...look who’s reared his elitist pubbie head again. Lil’ Billy Kristol.
It doesn’t matter. She has just as much right to run for the nomination as Bolton, Cain, Trump or anyone else. I haven’t seen Kristol and Krauthammer writing and commenting against them running, have you?
The attacks on Palin are ludicrous.
I don’t think she will run, but having some Romney hack roll out and push her decision either way is BS. We all know how irrelevant Bill is. Just read the mindless nitwittery that passes for Conservatism at the Weakly Substandard.
Wrong. Kristol is a pompous, condescending, ignorant RINO. I wish Fox News would flush him.
The pus brained PDS’ers should love this thread.
Have these gentlemen ever heard of the Supreme Court? If Obama wins in 2012, it won’t matter any more. We’ll have total socialism in this country.
“Do you seriously think she can win?”
Whether you think you can or you cant, either way you are right. - Henry Ford
That is a ignorant statement - “all gone to her head”
She made more since in these past few Q and A in NY and India than a lot of the potential candidates hemming and hawing on the MSM about what they would do
More drivel from the Left or Politico will be met with nothing but well deserved derision.
since = sense?
Perhaps Mr. Kristol should declare his candidacy. Then he would see if anyone else wants to vote for someone with whom Mr. Kristol agrees 100%.
Doesn’t all this oh-so-kind concern come down to, “I want to vote for someone more like me.”?
That is as resounding an endorsement as the fact that the entire Left goes insane every time they think of her.
It means Sarah is, indeed, "change."
They don't want change. They're in charge now. They won't be if there is change.
Because if she was personally bankrupt, she would have a lock on the nomination and election?
I’m convinced that she can and will win, even without your vote.
That is exactly why we need someone like her to turn this ship around.
All of the inside the beltway bubble people want to "educate" her so that she will think like them.
We need a major makeover in Washington not just the little trim around the edges that we are getting from the insiders.
The only thing I question is why she would want to do this thankless job. She will have to fight tooth and nail to make the basic changes that will take a generation to see results.
Well, that does it. If Kristol doesn’t like her, I’m getting my Palin2012 t-shirt asap.
I guess you would have to watch Fox to hear what this guy has to say. I don’t anymore. I get my news here!
If Obama wins 2012,there won’t be an election in 2016.
One example, she quit the governorship. Like it or not. She chose to pursue the golden ring. Abandoned the people who voted for her. You don’t think that will be used against her?
Like I said I’d still support her if she is the nominee.
