Call it patriotic adultery.
Presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich has claimed that he had an affair with a colleague because his love of country made him work too hard. The twice-divorced Republican politician was married to his second wife Ginther when he embarked on an affair in the mid-90s with blonde Castilla Bisek, who is 23-years his junior.
(snip)
'There's no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate,' Gingrich told The Christian Broadcasting Network.

He was "doing it" for the Red, White and Blue.

If he was really working so damned hard, he would not have had TIME for an affair.

I’m sure the stress of his poor wife having cancer was to blame also.
Is this article satire? Must be sarcasm, right?
Newt is a nut. But even he wouldn’t say this, right?
Right?

He was "doing it" for the Red, White and Blue. What was the old phrase..."throw a flag over her and..."
Is that about it, Newt?

It’s not satire. It’s one of the most pitiful statement I’ve ever heard. Newt is done.

Newt,
Whyn’t you go find a nice loveseat to sit with Nancy Pelousy and promote Global Warming Taxes.
Oh, wait, you already did that.
Just go away, please.

Newt needs to go back to his day job. A man who can’t control his schlong has no business aspiring to control anything bigger . . . unless he’s a Democrat.

When it comes right down to it Newt is not a very good politician. He really doesn’t have the knack for it. I guess that’s what makes him so interesting.

Huh?
How can a thrice-divorced, thrice-married man take communion in a Catholic Church?
