The Supreme Court won't hear an atheist's latest challenge to the U.S. government's references to God.
The court on Monday refused to hear an appeal from Michael Newdow, who says government references to God are unconstitutional and infringe on his religious beliefs.

“The court on Monday refused to hear an appeal from Michael Newdow, who says government references to God are unconstitutional and infringe on his religious beliefs.”
Athiest’s have no religious beliefs.
You’d think after being slapped down this many times... Newdow would Realize that he’s barking up the wrong tree.
Liberal buffoon!!!
What a pathetic person. Does he really feel like he’s having religion imposed on him, or that he’s being forbidden from exercising his religious beliefs, by 4 little words on a coin?
Liberals never give up, ever. This is always the problem.
Clearly this appeal shows otherwise. :)
Not 4, just 1..................
Yes Newdow, you’re outside the circle of Humanity, and one day soon your master will call you home.
Their sense of irony seems to leave them doesn’t it?
Does this mean his 15 minutes of fame are over? I am so tired of hearing from this man.
I keep wondering when the courts are going to get tired of this guy and slap him down in a very hard way. He has a law degree so it costs him little more than the filing fees. The first time he tried this he deceived the court into believing that he had legal standing by suing on the behalf of his daughter. Come to find out he did not have even joint custody and the daughter practices her religious beliefs.
The court on Monday refused to hear an appeal from Michael Newdow, who says government references to God are unconstitutional and infringe on his religious beliefs.
Seriously ... this means he has no standing.
What I don't understand is this... in this day and age there are 1001 ways to engage in financial transactions without the use of coins or paper currency. If 4 little words on a coin bother this nutcase so much, then why doesn't he just use credit cards, checks, or any number of other means to make transactions and STFU?
Oh wait, it is because he's trying to impose his religious beliefs on the rest of us.
Start charging him the government’s court costs - at this point there are pretty solid grounds for calling him a vexatious litigant.
Colonel, USAFR
Is this moron really still trying? It seems like all he does now is sue to get “In God we Trust” off currency, and fail each time.
He can just scratch the words off his own money.
Fools-— when they meet up with the Almighty at the end what a bummer for them.
This seems to have nothing to do with belief except in his belief in making money. Michael Newdow is FADF (First Amendement Defense Fund)of Sacramento, CA, a 501(c)(3) a Charitable Organization, making Tax Free money. This may be the only way for a business to survive in Kalefornia...
“Liberals never give up, ever. This is always the problem.”
Excellent point. It’s consistent with the fact that liberals have the maturity of a 4 year old:
Mom, mom, mom, mom, mom....
IMOW "Better to believe in God...just in case"
I saw that POS in a store In Elk Grove a while back and it took every ounc of my restraint not to whoop his ass..
