Attorney General Eric Holder finally got fed up Tuesday with claims that the Justice Department went easy in a voting rights case against members of the New Black Panther Party because they are African American.
Holder's frustration over the criticism became evident during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing as Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) accused the Justice Department of failing to cooperate with a Civil Rights Commission investigation into the handling of the 2008 incident in which Black Panthers in intimidating outfits and wielding a club stood outside a polling place in Philadelphia.
The Attorney General seemed to take personal offense at a comment Culberson read in which former Democratic activist Bartle Bull called the incident the most serious act of voter intimidation he had witnessed in his career.

Rush is talking about this now!
“I misspoke”. The end.
You stinkin' Americans are NOT our people.
And that rag you call the Constitution will be burnt publicly,
after it dries off from our urine.
Only “your people” can demean “your people” Eric.
The law was violated and it’s your job to prosecute!
OK Holder you AA dipchit, when we get a WHITE AG then he can worry ONLY about our People.
>>>>Are you an American first and foremost, or an African-American first and foremost?<<<<
I hate the term “African-American”. Unless you were born in Africa and later became an American, you are NOT “African-American”!!
I think Holder demeans his own people - which should be the American people.
When are we going to have that honest conversation about race?
The irony is that he can say and use the term “my people”.
But if you or I uttered the term “you people”, that would be racist.
They’re THUGS Eric, THUGS-—don’t you get it! I guess not.
“My people and socialist people, all of the time. You people, never.” - Eric Holder
I couldn’t believe it when I saw that headline! I wonder how long till White House backs away from this?
Very good Batman11-—he will crack under the pressure. Obama needs more and more pressure on him as well. For all his cool, calm & collected outer shell, that dude can’t take the heat. Holder, you’re a real gob-shite.
So he’s not my attorney general? I suspected as much but it’s good to hear it confirmed.
Yep, good points. I agree. In my post I referenced ‘his people’, probably a mistake. I hate what Blacks do to themselves.
Despite the destructive nature of government handouts, they still seem to think those handouts are important.
Welfare just about destroyed the Black family in the U. S. Something like 65 to 70% of all births to Black women, are to single unmarried women.
These kids are hobbled from the word go.
If someone sees this as a racist view on my part, they should consider this. If I were a racist, I would love seeing the Black family destroyed. Instead it makes me quite sad. I want to see that change, and the people who say they support Blacks in the U. S. should share my desire to see the failed policies done away with.
Get back to the basics. Honor the family unit. Train your children well. Emphasize the importance of an earned education. Don’t settle, until your kids are at the top.
Support the party that actually gives a damn if the suggestions above take place in your favor.
Never..............
Sometimes the truth comes out in the words, and Holder’s use of the term ‘my people’ proved the case. He sees voting rights in terms of my people and everyone else. He is not going to enforce the rules against ‘my people’ because of the history of racism in this country. That is racist in itself, but he is too blind to see.
