Now, think! Did you need Glenn Beck to tell you all this, or have you not, as many of us have, feared this happening from November, 2008 when the Hussein imam invaded the White House? Did you not, in your heart of hearts know that our way of life was under a deadly threat? I did.
I should have moved on after 60 replies. Here I am after 217 replies and still have no clue. The only replies I read that seem to have anything to do with what actually happened on Beck's show today (which is what I think the original poster was on about, but not sure?) are that:
There are protestors outside of Fox studio in NY and Beck is pissed about that
Beck said we should support Qadafi to keep Muslim Brotherhood from taking over Libya
That's the summary of content on this thread regarding the topic of today's GB show.
Then, there's 200+ posts that read something like this:
I hate GB!
I love GB!
He's a prophet!
He's insane!
He's a Mormon!
You're a bigot!
etc. etc. etc.
FRiend, I have no idea where you attended school, but I can assure you most Americans wouldn't know Calvin Coolidge from Aretha Franklin. I know about Coolidge because I burn the internet to pieces every waking second I have....I am an information junkie. Frankly Glenn Beck is doing a great service for people that neither have the time, ability nor, in your case education, to do this research and bring it to the masses.
We’re mad as hell and we’re not taking it anymore!!!
LOL!
Whoever coined the term, “Trying to organize Conservatives, is a lot like herding cats.”, made a humorous yet accurate and a the same time very understated comment.
We lamented for decades the lack of having Conservative views expressed on the airwaves or in the media. We knew when we were being gamed, but this information wasn’t being presented to the general public.
Today we have Rush and Beck doing so on a daily basis. And now some of us have come to the conclusion that the Conservative message, warnings about where we are headed, and what is direct ahead, is too much doom and gloom for us.
Yesterday I stumbled across a thread where Freepers (at least I think they were) saying both Limbaugh and Beck were so over the top they couldn’t listen to them. Say WHAT?
Honest to God folks, get a fricken grip. There are two people in this nation responsible for bringing our views to the public. Without them, who does it?
Neither Beck or Rush are perfect. Hell, none of us are either. These two guys are doing the heavy lifting, and yet..., and yet..., some of us carp about them to our heart’s content. JHC, what the hell is wrong with you people?
Without Rush and Beck, there would be no hope for this nation. We would be singing praises to each other here in almost total oblivion, nobody actually addressing what Obama, Soros, Ayers, and countless others were up to. And if we did know, nobody in public would be pushing this information out to the public.
Damn folks, if you can’t grasp this, get off the forum for a few days and give it some thought. Whatever you do, please don’t come here and post the pipe dreams of the Left with regard to Rush and Beck.
I come here to get away from that s—t! If I want to wallow in it, there’s always DU, MoveOn.Org, the Daily Kos, or the Huffington Compost.
bttt
My biggest point of dispute with you is about the islamo-marxist connection. Here is a link to Breitbart’s BigGovernment site, not Glenn’s tv show.
Also note my tagline. I did NOT get it from Glenn Beck. I came up with it all by myself based on research and observation..
You're reading way too much into a rather common comment.
FWIW, since he's Mormon, he thinks he's going to be a god someday anyway.
I have never claimed to be an admin. Someone posted a lie and I called it out. Period, end of story.
Americans will put up with a lot of nonsense, but they'll never accept $15 or $20 per gallon gas. We have ample resources to provide for our our fossil fuels; we simply choose not to. That can, and will, change.
Snip: .. A bill proposed in the State of Washington (House Bill 1716), by representatives Asay, Hurst, Klippert, Pearson, and Miloscia, whose alleged purpose is to regulate secondhand gold dealers, seeks to capture "the name, date of birth, sex, height, weight, race, and address and telephone number of the person with whom the transaction is made" or said otherwise, of every purchaser of gold in the state of Washington.
"Furthermore, if passed, Bill 1716 will record "a complete description of the property pledged, bought, or consigned, including the brand name, serial number, model number or name, any initials or engraving, size, pattern, and color or stone or stones" and of course price. But the kicker: if a transaction is mode for an amount over $100, which means one tenth of an ounce of gold, also required will be a "signature, photo, and fingerprint of the person with whom the transaction is made."

Thanks, MamaDearest.
Yep, and there is no harm in buying some extra cans of food each time you go to the grocery store. Most of us should be doing that anyway.
Most likely, you, a lot of other people here, and I have been watching this stuff for decades. No, I didn’t need Beck to bring me up to speed. That being said, I have learned a considerable amount from watching him.
Okay, so we have a firm background. Do you think everyone does? Do you think everyone has spent the time you and I have, trying to keep up with what is taking place.
If you’re like me in this regard, you realize how much you’d miss just skipping 90 days or so on this forum. Imagine what it’s like for folks who have never been to it. Imagine what it’s like for folks working long hours, with young kids in a home that needs upkeep. Do you think they are as able to keep tabs on this stuff, as you and I are?
Rush and Beck are very important if we want to keep folks up to speed with us. If we want them to understand why we support certain things and oppose other things because they fit into an overall understanding of what is really taking place, we simply must have the Rush and Beck folks out there.
Characterizing them as over the top, or doom and gloom, isn’t productive. It’s incredibly destructive.
Nothing would give the Left more cheer, than to see us eating our own. I’ll have none of it.

Last sentence. You DID NOT SAY “a god”. It is there for all to see.
Hey girlie (since you didn’t like Sir) are you talking about me? Just speculating since you called me a liar. It’s polite to ping the person you are talking about, soooooo if you called someone else a liar besides me, you should have pinged them.

I don’t see counseling moderation in idolizing Beck to be “eating our own”.
The trouble with Beck is that he is WAY too optimistic.
Excellent post DO. I totally agree.
Are you a DUmmy? Seems so. The only time I’ve heard the term “dry drunk” was when DUmmies were referring to Bush.
