(Reuters) - Iranian state TV said on Thursday two Iranian warships are due to pass through the strategic Suez Canal -- an event that would mark the first such passage by the Islamic republic's navy since Iran's 1979 revolution.
A similar plan was announced on Wednesday but then canceled.

Keep in mind Iran wants to disrupt the price of oil, raise the price of oil and make life difficult for the West which is dependent on oil. Notice the Shitites believe in 12th Imam and if they can cause chaos and destruction it will bring about his return,. The Imam was to return on August 27 2010 and he did not so the Iranians will cause for chaos to ensue and claim he has returned on on August 27 2010.

WTH? This is the third or fourth account I’ve read about this on again off again crossing of the Suez. The 12th imam just can’t make a decision or is leveraging like mad behind the scenes.
I predict that these ships oddly start taking on water coupled with a fire in the engine room. Gotta love Israel. A creative bunch.

I will add that these mind games are also ways they control their own people - through confusion, uncertainty resulting in fear of not knowing what will happen. It’s a powerful thing.

I saw an article last night stating that the US plans - for the first time ever - to vote with the Arab bloc and declare that Israel has no right to build any more settlements (even in what is actually its own territory). A couple of Arab countries were holding back from celebrating because they actually thought they could get the US to make an even more extreme gesture of support.
