But after reading the article, I see it as a light-hearted, but pointed jab at Santorum's remarks. Which he deserved.

Sarah was interviewed by Sean Hannity last night.

I heard the interview and this is what I heard; she responded to Santorum’s statement that she was busy with “all those kids” and was surprised to be told by Hannity that the Santorum’s had seven children of their own (I don’t know if that it true). Sarah responded, it was Rick Santorum’s wife who’s responsible for that “knuckle-dragging Neanderthal”

That is what I heard, but I believe there is a transcript of the interview, so checking is possible.

This "quitting" thing that you Palin haters keep puking up really exposes your mentality, since, unless you were living in Ricky Martin's basement, you'd know that she left the Governorship because of the shit storm brought down on her by the Alaska Democrats. They filed hundreds of "ethics violations" against her that required her office to produce warehouses full of documents. The cost and chaos became so great that it was impossible to conduct daily business.

To take the burden off her office and to make enough money to pay the enormous legal bills, she resigned.

And she accomplished a tad more than just being "elected mayor". I won't list everything because you don't care and are not here to learn, but everything she achieved, she did without a famous family name or fortune and without riding her husband's coattails.

Sarah is not Joan of Arc, but she deserves to be treated fairly...you dick. (too strong? Sorry)

They hate her for the reasons you’ve listed, and because she dared to forgo an abortion in favor of giving birth to an “imperfect” child in a world they think they can make perfect through theft, deceit and socialism.

They loathe her for that choice.

I agree. Every Republican candidate or potential candidate is going to be asked for their "take" on her and they have to be ready to answer. If they praise her, why should people vote for them and not her? If they knock her, no matter how gently, the media will scream, "FEUD!!! DISARRAY IN GOP RANKS!!!!" and Sarah's supporters will amass against them.

Really, no one can win. I think it will be up to her to diffuse this crap as it arises.
