Wow, this may end up like the Iran-Iraq War back in the 80s.
Who to root for? Hmmmmm ...

Something very prophetic about this whole thing - and not just Egypt, but all the countries surrounding Israel. Something I feel has been set in motion. I may just have to dust off all of those end-times books I bought back in the 1970’s.

Thinning the heard. Let’s just hope it’s the dumb people killing dumb people.

Has anybody heard any estimates at all of crowd size today?
It seems like the crowds are small, but that may be just because the TV cameras are limited in their views.

The Army will come in during the night and clear everybody out of the square.
To: SE Mom
It’s not the “egyptians” turning on each other. The police force (not military) have donned plain clothes and are out stirring up trouble for Mubarak. Those camel’s and horses are literally the police force’s “cavalry”.
To: SE Mom
They keep killing each other! Equals GOOD news!
To: SE Mom
Two things to note.
This is a CITY uprising. The farmers etc are not evident.
Bad development when they turn on each other. Means the cops and the Army will have to pick sides.

How soon is it before nightfall. I predict that after the sun goes down many of the members of the Egyptian Army will take off their uniforms and join the pro-Mubarak mob. Thats when the real headcracking will start. I hope that we've got all of the Americans out of Egypt by now.

NYT - Europe Leaders Call for Faster Transition in EgyptThe transition needs to be rapid and credible and it needs to start now, Prime Minister David Cameron told parliament on Wednesday.
Mr. Sarkozy reiterates his wish to see a concrete transition process start without delay, in response to a desire for change and renewal so strongly expressed by the population."
People want democratic change and they want it now, he [German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle] said. It must be a change toward democracy. Not a change that begins someday, but one which begins now.
